semi-retired, my partner and I enjoy life in the country and travelling. After one ill-fated adventure, we decided the "RV lifestyle" is not for us. But we are happy to provide a safe, quiet place to park and stay for others!
Yes! Computer skills, cooking skills (we love vegetarian and gluten-free), animal-handling skills, minor repairs.
No rig these days. We used to travel in a 1996 Fleetwood Jamboree, 24 foot class C.
room in SK have a beautiful spot in between the fields. It is very quiet and you have a great view. The hosts are super friendly, laid back and helpful.
We couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Boondockers Welcome!
We spent two nights with Christie and Jennifer on their farm. Lots of room to park and level. They offered electricity which was nice as we could put on out slow cooker and cook a roast while visiting the RCMP Heritage Center. Highly recommend this boondocker .
We've been welcomed very friendly, could settle up and even plug in to have some heating in the chilly wind.
The sunset in the prairie is fascinating. Thanks a lot for the nice stay.
We thoroughly appreciated this wonderful spot! The hosts are friendly, the farm is so quiet and peaceful and the sky goes on forever. Awesome sunset watching here. :) Thank you very much for a quiet, safe place to park for the night!
Our very first boondocking experience was awesome because of Christy and Jenn! Their farm (about 20km SW of Regina) was perfect for our one night stay: lots of room to park, turn around, and privacy as well. An electrical outlet is available if you need it. Watching dawn break in a burst of sunshine over the city in the distance was a real treat. We shared a meal, delicious craft beer, and great conversation with good laughs. Thanks gals - we had fun, and the peace and quiet of your place was much needed after a busy day exploring Regina :-)
Stayed one night at the farm of Christy and Jennifer. So quiet with lots of room for parking. We were warmly welcomed with offers of help if anything was needed. Lovely people.
Definitely would return.
