We are semi retired couple who loves to travel, especially by road.we live in a country location close to major highways and many tourist attractions.
friendly and love meeting new people. we just recently sold our Class B+ after our trip to California, and thru the years we have tried everything from a tent to a 32ft class A.
currently trying to decide on what rv to try next.
we can do some light mechanical and electrical work and some light computer work and my wife is an amazing cook and seamstress.

Gadget2 where the first hosts we spent a second time with. Just like at our first visit, they were caring and interested in our plans. Everything you need, e.g. hookup, water is available. Great place in the hub of the Maritimes.
We have been welcomed very friendly at gadget2's place and been offered a variety of amenities boondockers are looking forward to. We enjoyed our visit at their place and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much, maybe see you again 😉
Our hosts were wonderful, the neighbourhood was delightful, and the parking area was level and quiet after dark. Great BDW hosts and site, thank you!
Our apologies for the delayed reference - we did get caught in the weather bomb and had no cell or internet service.
The hosts Paul and Evelyn were great. They accepted our request one day before and when our plans changed they let us arrive early.
They were both gracious and friendly but allowed us to relax. They have a good driveway for backing up because it is at the end of the road with little to no traffic, so I could relax and back up without any pressure.
The site is near the highway so you can hear traffic but as soon as we turned a fan in we no longer heard anything.
Thanks for hosting us!
These hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and so very friendly, inviting us for tea. I would definitely choose to stay again, as it is quite conveniently located. it was a pleasure to meet them and their 'granddog', as I got my 'dog therapy'! Over all, a very nice experience!
Twice we have been welcomed by Gadget2 with unreserved pleasure for both us and them. This host remains on our visit-again list for trips to the Maritimes (which are annually). We continue to recommend them highly.
We had a very nice and quiet night and the hosts were very accommodating to all our needs.
We would definitely stop here again if traveling near their location.
Pleasant stay. Not there long but was welcomed kindly.
Stopped in for just a quick overnight stop. We were running a little later than expected called the host to let them know we were going to be later than expected and they were very gracious. The host met us when we arrived we had a short and pleasurable conversation spent the night and left in the morning to continue our journey to Fogo Island.
Paul & Evelyn welcomed us on short notice since we’d changed plans after hurricane Dorian. They greeted us, and we enjoyed a wonderful chat followed by the first restful sleep in 2 nights. We had a wonderful time exploring Fundy park and Hopewell Rock. On the morning of our departure, we spent time with Paul and Evelyn sharing coffee and memories. The time spent with them was a true blessing and ministry into our lives.
We were well received by the host. They are really welcoming. We could stay all day to talk with them. This is a great emplacement. We recommand that place.
Even though Paul & Evelyn were away when we arrived at their home, I phoned him and he gave me instructions and permission to set up our Motor Home right away. As soon as they returned, right after my initial introduction, Paul asked if all was okay and if our trip was going well. I confirmed all was well but that we were having a problem with out TOAD's Brake Buddy, he immediately asked to take a look at it, there was a broken wire on a resistor which Paul soldered up right away. he has a very well equipped work shop right at the garage at their home.
Evelyn came out, introduced herself and offered us some fresh brewed tea along with some great home made blue berry muffins. We had a very interesting discussion for a few hours and they both gave us some fantastic ideas for exploring the Moncton area the next day.
They are a very friendly and helpful couple. We followed their suggestions and had an exceptional day site seeing. We highly recommend their Boondocking site if you plan to visit the Moncton area.
Our only regret was that we ended up staying just one night. These folks represent Boondockers Welcome at its best. Nice spot, electric and water provided. Close to Moncton. Quiet. And a historic house! Hope to get back there again. Highly recommended.
Our hosts were the best ever! We are so grateful to them for being so welcoming, accommodating and kind. We even had tea and conversation through the evening. They are just the best and nicest people you could ever hope to meet. The driveway was paved and level and right off the highway and in a great location, quiet and safe. We had the best sleep ever!
Can't say enough about how friendly this couple is! We were only there for one night, but we certainly feel as though we have made new friends! We shared our many adventures with them and they shared their adventures with us. Just a very lovely time. Hope to see them visit us someday!
Very welcoming people. Enjoyed an evening of exchanging stories and helping them with their future trip to Alaska. Especially enjoyed the trails behind their house to walk the dog. Their property is not far from the highway, so convenient. This option was perfect and I would clearly stay here again.
CNR: CanNot Refuse the opportunity to stay at this location with this couple. Finding their home was easy; positioning our rv was easy: dead-end road so no traffic, and double wide drive, so room for an oops or two. Excellent access to Moncton, Shediac,Hopewell Rocks, and Confederation Bridge to PEI on major highways. Quiet neighbourhood makes bike/ foot exploring pleasant. Hosts quite energetic and willing to be helpful without being pushy. This listing gets top grades!
Everett and I thoroughly enjoyed our hosts who envited us in for tea......what a treat! The spot was cosy, and quiet .....nestled in the rural country side with lots of shade.
Paul and Evelyn hosted us for a night and when we arrived it turned out they were having a family get-together to celebrate Paul's parents anniversary and also his birthday. But, even knowing that when we first contacted them, they had happily agreed to host us anyway. Now THAT's hospitality! Only got to talk with them in the morning before we left but they are a terrific couple who made us very welcome at there lovely home.
Thanking you both for a safe and quiet stay, and ability to catch up from a long drive! Highly recommended! Hope to visit again on way back!
We really enjoyed our short stay. A beautiful quiet location and wonderful hosts :)
Gadget 2 was very nice. We had a lovely stay and kids had ample space to play outside. Our 1st boondocking night was a great experience.
We could not have had a more pleasant stay with this easy-going couple. We enjoyed a great visit and then a peaceful sleep before departing early in the morning to take advantage of the Bay of Fundy tide schedule.
We had lots of fun with Evelyn and Paul. They were sooo welcoming and were offering their help making it easier for us.
Lovely conversation, beautiful flowers and lots of kindness. Big thank you see you at our places
Diane and Carole
We had the pleasure of staying with Gadget2 in Moncton, enjoying excellent conversation, fine baking, & also coffee in the morning while watching the bird feeders.
We would certainly recommend Gadget2 as either a host or a guest.
We recently stayed with our hosts and were treated wonderfully and very hospitable. Appreciated the time they spent with us and look forward to seeing them at our place some day.
We very much enjoyed our stay with this heart warming couple. They are lovely!
