I am a retired welding business owner of 40 years. I am also a Civil War reenactor in Signal Corps and a Docent/Blacksmith volunteer at a Stagecoach Stop Museum here in PA. When I am not "stepping back in time" I enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, photography and oil painting. I'm also still riding the trails on my Dual Sport motorbike, just not near as fast as I used to! I prefer to travel to off-the-beaten-path type attractions where the large crowds don't attend. I'm just trying to see it all!
I guess I am sort of a jack-of-all trades. I never buy anything I can build myself. I built my work shop, my house, and even built my own Bass boat. I didn't know if I was building a boat or submarine, but it actually floated!
No
National forests.
I live in a small town on the end of a no outlet rd. where I am fortunate to own 56 acres (actually I'm just renting them from Mother Nature) and I am surrounded by hundreds of undeveloped acres. Very quite and peaceful area.
24' Class C Gulfstream with no slide-outs. Also on the rear of the camper is a 2' extension deck where I haul a 250 Dual Sport motorcycle.
So quiet I didn't even know if they stayed :) Actually, there was a scheduling snafu on my end, we weren't actually home when they arrived, and they were gone by the time we got back. We would welcome them back, and would like to meet them in person!
We really enjoyed meeting Jim and hearing about his planned trip west and about his plans for hosting boondockers. ( which seems like it will be a wonderful place to visit when touring his area. Hope he can stop by again in future.
Really enjoyed having him here pleasant gentleman only spent the night so we didn’t have much time to talk.
