Margaret- mother, grandmother and wife. Many years in various aspects of Real Estate. It was and is her passion. Michael- husband, stepdad and grandfather. Many years in manufacturing and four years in the Navy.
For Margaret and Michael this was a midlife marriage eighteen years ago. Together we have evolved the blueberry farm into a pick your own operation with limited sales at the blueberry shack where you enter our property. As children and grandchildren left the main house, our home seemed to grow bigger around us. For the next 17 years we ran a 4 room BandB. We will begin to transition from the B and B to small rental units. We also have other rental units on our property.
We both love to travel and we are on our second RV. We have been cross country 12 times and lack only three states (washington, north dakota and alaska)
to have visited all 50.
Margaret, real estate and a great organizer. Michael, more of a follower.
Two Siamese cats. Crystal and Izzy. They will walk on leashes if they feel like it. As they are descended from royalty, they prefer not to associate with dogs and therefor stay mostly inside. (all in fun we love dogs)
Mostly flying J and Walmart so far. Bass Pro Shops, Crackerbarrel
Lisbon, New Hampshire. Smalltown USA near mountains and lakes. Beautiful in summer and cold as hell in winter.
30 foot Itasca Sunova class A. One slide with gas engine. Jeep Wrangler toad.
Delightful hosts, lovely spot in a meadow below house. Was the perfect spot to chill for a few days. Site was level, roomy no hook ups.
We spent one night with Michael and Margaret, were supposed to spend two nights, but it was pretty humid and we didn't feel like dealing with the generators another night. Renovations were going on so we were not able to hook up to electric. Michael did advise us however before we even confirmed. We parked below the house, close to the road, so there was road noise. If you stay up top near the house when renovations are finished, it is mush more quiet and breezy worth a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed all of our conversations worth Michael and Margaret, they are wonderful hosts! They gave us so many good ideas for boondocking and cheaper stays. 😊 we hope to host them sometime if they come our way.
My wife and I enjoyed talking with the hosts.
They were very gracious, always there to help.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend them.
Our hosts at the Blueberry Farm were very kind and accommodating from the moment we arrived until the time we left. We had a wonderful stay, hiding out on their lovely farm during the not so nice weather. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, from our conversations with our hosts to Maxie the Llama. Thanks for a great stopover!
We had a great couple nights at Blueberry Farm bed and Breakfast. We felt welcomed and it was quiet and nice. There is great hiking in the area. Very nice stay!
Thank you for the warm welcome and the nice location. You really made us feel at home. Your property is beautiful ! Your place is quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much !
M & M were beyond welcoming and so very accommodating! Glad to be their first USA guest!!
Great river-view, flat parking, clear open star filled sky, clean refreshing well water, lama, mini-donkey, and chickens.
NONE, other than we should have arrived b4 sunset!
Very interesting couple. Michael and Margaret were very welcoming. They have a lovely place with lots of lovely flowers , they have hens, a lama named Max and a donkey. We enjoyed our conversation together.
Thanks to these wonderful hosts ,we were able to visit" off the beat interesting sites," we would have never found on our own. The location was super just sorry the blueberries weren't ripe. They looked so tempting. We found our hosts extremely interesting and totally enjoyed our visit. I would highly recommend this site.
