In 2016, we are both retired from the Air Force and have decided to spend the next year traveling around the US and meeting new people. We met in Panama City, Florida when we were both stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base and now live in Alexandria, Virginia. We love venturing around the city, learning about its history, checking out happy hours (our fav) and enjoying long walks.
Last summer, we took a two-month road trip and once back, we decided that buying an RV and wandering around the country sounded amazing! On our trip, we visited Glacier National Park, Yellowstone Park, Las Vegas, Sedona, Colorado and several other places we loved.
This year, we plan to spend more time in the Pacific Northwest to visit family in Oregon, venture up into Canada (Whistler, BC and Banff/Lake Louise) and celebrate Paula's birthday in Glacier National Park. It's going to be amazing! We may return to Alexandria in the Fall, unless we are having too much fun exploring!
We have so much fun together and can't wait to experience what this beautiful country has to offer. Life is too short not to go out and make the most of every day. We feel blessed that we can do this at this moment in life. We look forward to spending time with family and friends and hopefully meeting a few new friends along the way!
Paula loves to work hard; if you have any small projects we can help with, she is in! Bryan is very analytical and is the best troubleshooter around. We recently remodeled our kitchen and although we didn't always know what we were doing, it turned out amazing!
No pets, just us!
We haven't visited any boondocking locations as of yet, but looking forward to it.
Bryan was raised in Texas and Paula in Montana. So, we couldn't have been raised in two different places! But, our differences bring us together to always find the best solution to a problem or the best decision for our life together.
We have a 16' Toyota Highlander that we use to tow our 17' Travel Trailer.
Very nice guests. I didn't actually meet them as it was late in the day and my husband got them set up on the spot. They were very easy to communicate with. We wish them safe travels and better weather!!
Bryan & Paula kept up updated on their ETA and were wonderful guests while they were here. The weather turned cold the night they arrived, so we invited them up to the house to visit. The night of visiting passed way too quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with them and hearing them frequently compliment each other! We could have chatted with them for hours!
(Hopefully we'll see them in Washington DC sometime … or somewhere else along the road!)
