Bigfish316 was headed to a nearby state park campground from here, but found that his assigned site would not work, given his RV's length; way too sloped. So he stayed two extra days. Boy, what a benefit that was! He completely cleaned up our barn that collapsed in the middle; what a worker! Aside from that he was friendly, respectful, and a joy to be around. His dog was equally friendly and very gentle. Bigfish316's departure this morning left us sad to see him (and his buddy) go, but very glad to have met them. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.
Had a good time of fellowship with Bigfish & Buddy discussing volunteer work camping opportunities we have been able to take part in in our travels, and areas he may be interested in checking out. We welcome him back whenever he may be our way again.
Safe travels, my friend.
Glad to welcome Jim back for a longer stay that allowed him time to visit more and make some needed improvements to his rig. As before Jim was most appreciative of our host location. Travel safe in the new year and come back any time.
I enjoyed hosting this guest and his dog. He is very quiet and and I hope he enjoyed his stay. He also was good about cleaning up after his friendly dog. Welcome back.
Great guest - friendly, appreciative and respectful of our host site and other BW guests that were here.
The dog was friendly and we'll behaved too.
Welcome back any time....infavt due back for the new year holiday
We hosted for only 2 days by the calendar. Seemed like less than a day. Bigfish was quiet, almost so that we had to look to see if he was there. Even his very playful companion was quiet - I think he only barked to get our mutts to play, even though our little female would go bark towards him or the rig. Unfortunately I was a bit busy with a church function and a FEMA class that I was teaching to visit as much as I had liked. We had a few good conversations and I learned a few things. This is my selfish reason for being a host - to learn from others. Anytime you or Buddy want to return, you are most welcome. Sorry we missed the dog parade at the Farmers Market.
Enjoyed our visit with Bigfish316. There are times you wish guests could stay longer, this was one of those times.
Have a safe journey, you are welcome back anytime.
What a wonderful time we had with Bigfish!!! So interesting how he chose his "handle"!! He was fun to listen to and some of the stories were quite entertaining!!! We welcome him back anytime. His dog was well-behaved and got along with our dogs. It always amazes me how we became good friends in a short time....hope he feels the same! Safe travels my friend!!!
Considerate guest , appreciative of our property. Even offered to help with " anything " I needed help with . Anything I guess doesn't include painting (lol) . Hope he returns again
He happened to catch us at an unusually busy time. We had so much going on, we never had time to visit and socialize, not out usual MO.
If we hadn't seen his rig out in our parking lot, we would have never known that he was around.
Very friendly and polite, the few minutes that we did share.
Welcome back, anytime. Maybe we can visit some then.
BF was a great guest and a gifted conversationalist. We greatly enjoyed our discussions. We had to park him in the drive due to an enormus misplaced wood chips pile preventing use of our normal turn around area. Very nice visit. Hope he returns.
I was glad to be Bigfish316's first BW host. Friendly guy, well behaved friendly dog (I guess the guy was well behaved too, lol). Would be happy to have them back.
