We like the outdoors and going on road trips in our van.
Yes, we have a herding dog mix.
Just started boondocking last summer when we visited Southern Utah and had a good experience. We used Campendium and thought it was a great app.
Falcon RV van.
It was a pleasure meeting you both! Hope to see you again in the future.
I appreciated their independence, yet friendly approach to our short time together. They are welcome back anytime.
Always good to have other hosts , Nice folks hope to see them again !
Our hosts we very pleasant. The RV spot worked well for us and the surrounding vista of old juniper trees was gorgeous. We thank our hosts for their hospitality and would definitely recommend a stay there.
Very nice boondocking spot. Beautiful house, nice parking arrangement (for Class B RV), and electrical hookup. Great location in quiet neighborhood. Just watch out for Google maps taking you to wrong house.
Hosts were very nice and had good recommendations for things to do/visit. Just wish I could have had more time to talk to them. Highly recommend.
Great place to visit Bend and the surrounding. Super quiet. The hosts were unbelievably friendly and helpful, we got many recommendations from them. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for having us.
Such a beautiful spot tucked in the juniper trees. Karecame were the perfect hosts. Karen and I went for morning walks with the dogs, which was so great to have a companion for our new dog Rio. She was so kind to write a list of places close by to recommend based on our interests, and even gave me a look at her grandmother's cookbook for her solar cooker. We had great cell service so we were able to get some work done and juice up our batteries. Hope to see you both in the future. Thank you for everything!
Good place to stop before heading into Bend.
Spot is very convenient and private next to garage.
Easy level parking.
Nice wooded area.
Electric hookup was nice, to recharge batteries.
Nice host came out in the morning for a quick chat.
What a wonderful ''home base'' for our visit to Bend! The communication was timely, and the directions were spot on. The parking spot was very level and quiet. Our hosts greeted us and offered great suggestions for local hikes, restaurants, and breweries. We loved their recommendation to visit Smith Rock State Park which is about a half hour north of their place. The hike up Misery Ridge Trail was anything but misery! We enjoyed sharing our van tales and hearing about theirs. Hope to visit again when our travels bring us back to beautiful Bend. Thanks for being such gracious hosts!
No shortage of hospitality here. Very quiet, easy flat space perfect for our van. Wonderful hosts and great conversation. Would love to be neighbors some day. Thank you for having us!
We stayed 2 nights. We didn't have a chance to connect in person but Chuck and Karen were very prompt in responding through Boondockers upon our arrival and were very gracious hosts.
The spot was perfect - quiet, easy to maneuver into, located alongside the garage and nicely shaded. Power hookup was available if needed. The views and surrounding area on the property are beautiful. Excellent location, so close to town, yet secluded and scenic.
Really appreciated being able to stay here, highly recommended!!
Warm and friendly hosts offering a very quiet and private stay under the high desert stars. An added bonus was that the spot was shaded!
Friendly people, great location, great parking spot, all the positive features many others spoke of in their reviews.
This nice private shady spot provides a convenient jumpoff point for Bend and Deschutes river activities.
Nice private parking space right in nature and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay during my time exploring the area.
I really enjoyed this quiet and serene spot just outside of Bend - near Tumalo, OR. The hosts were communicative and gave excellent directions. The spot was totally surrounded by Juniper trees and next to the garage with 110v electric plug conveniently placed. The spot was level and parking was easy. I really liked the fact that when approaching, this spot was before you get to the house and didn't have to disturb the hosts. I left early - and didn't make contact other than via text messages via Boondockers Welcome. With current Covid-19 safety precautions, this worked out wonderfully. I look forward to staying again, and perhaps actually meeting the gracious and generous hosts.
Aptly named. The ease of communication was much appreciated, and found the spot easily. Took advantage of the 110v connection and watched a magnificent thunder and lightning show in the late afternoon. Over-the-air reception for TV and news was excellent, as was my cellular connection. It was very quiet, and the spot was level. I did not interact with the owners, due to the current Covid-19 safety precautions - and that was not a barrier. I do look forward to meeting these generous and gracious folks in the future.
We spent one peaceful night at Juniper Delight. The property is gorgeous and very quiet. The parking spot is level and easy to access. We enjoyed visiting with our host when we arrived and playing with their dog. We would love to stay here again when we are in the area.
Beautiful surroundings, helpful host, peaceful location not far from central Bend
Welcoming hosts and lovely lands. I spent 2 nights on this gorgeous property. Felt most welcome and getting to town was easy via bicycle.
A beautiful central Oregon property. Quiet, clean and a privilege to stay on their groomed yet natural property. Just what we needed and it seems they accommodated us even when the designated RV spot was taken. Just the stopover we needed. Since we are from the area their location in the Tumalo community is a great rural area! Just outside Bend's activities. Our first BW experience, thank you!
