Hi! I am a paddler for the U.S National Team in pursuit of gold. I am also a U.S National Park Service Ranger. I am
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis) I served as a public affairs officer in the Navy. I am taking a break from a full time NPS career to chase my dreams of paddling in the Olympic Games. I am chasing good weather, flat water, training camps and paddling opportunities across the country in rivers, lakes, oceans and anywhere else a race can be held- also taking some time to enjoy the beauty this country has on my way.
NPS Ranger specializing in backcountry survival and technical search and rescue, and I paddle a boat quite quickly.
No pets. Just kayaks.
My family farms, so I am most at home sharing the view of the land.
I hail from Stonington Connecticut! But I live mostly in Cape Coral Florida and Gainesville Georgia for kayak training.
Converted flat nose “medium” length school bus. 2 axle, short wheelbase. Painted burgundy and white. No tow vehicle, I travel with a moped or motorcycle inside for local travel. My home on the road. Pretty basic but enough for me. (Backcountry park ranger by trade, so “roughing it” for me is a bit different) A working progress! Doing the build myself. New to the bus life!
