My wife and I retired from corporate America in 1990 and full timed for two years. We relocated in lower Alabama and half timed for 15 years until it got to crowded. We then moved to West Texas where we have more space. My wife of 55 years passed in 2013. I still RV when I can in my down sized Winnebago Navion.

I currently own an 2016 Winnebago Navion on a Mercedes chassis. 1 slide, 25.5' long, 11' high, 7.5' wide. LP generator. I some time tow a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
However while our stay was great and we enjoyed having our host for dinner, the host has sold his location north of San Angelo so any future stays will likely be at the new location which we can't comment on. The host is a friendly guy, with an interesting history.
Very very quiet and nice place. Angeloacres was a very nice host and gave us good tips about travelling... We had a restful time here.
Angeloacres was a wonderful host. He made sure we had all the directions to reach him, and also made sure to let us know that there were baby goats next door. We had a relaxing, but great night, watching the most intense lightning storm us two city kids had ever seen. A wonderful time, we hope to see Angeloacres again. Thanks for everything!
We needed a safe place to leave our motorhome in January while we made an overnight trip to pick up our car which we'd left miles back for repair. We stumbled on Boondockers Welcome which led us to "Angeloacres"... a most welcoming and helpful host and an easily accessible, comfortable spot for our moho. We enjoyed the brief time we had to get acquainted and share a few stories of our mutual love of sailing. After this most positive introduction we look forward to future boondocking opportunities.
This was a most comfortable place to stop. Our host was helpful with directions and getting us settled.
Great parking pad.
Good conversation and stories!
Angeloacres is the perfect host. He was very prompt when we first contacted him about availability. Once it was set up, he gave us great directions to his place. The camp site was very nice, level, and peaceful. He gave us lots of helpful info about the area. Great first Boondocker's experience!
He is a lovely gentleman and did an excellent job of hosting us. Helped us with every question and tips for further trips. Highly recommend this wast Texas treat
We had a great stay here. Parking area was perfectly level gravel and host was very helpful with offering knowledge of the area's routes and traffic. Nice rural area!
Host was very accommodating and friendly. Nice rural spot close to town.
