We are retirees who sold our Florida home and live and travel in our 40' Safari motorhome full time. Richard is a retired Supt. of School, and iona is a retired teacher. We have both also been in the trucking business. We moved into our first RV (a fifth wheel) in April, 2010 and loved it. We actually began rolling after Richard's second retirement from Walt Disney World.
We have nine children and many grandchildren scattered all over the country and we travel often to see them, plus we enjoy poking around this amazing and beautiful nation of ours.
We are Torah observant Messianic Jews, Meaning we apply both old and new Testaments to our lives and try to walk as did Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus).
We write a blog of our adventures living on the road. You may find is here: http://wildgooservers.blogspot.com/
Again, we new and hoping to learn a lot here.
We are fairly new at boondocking. Just getting started, really. We have stayed at city parks and Wal-Marts, the driveways of relatives, but nothing long term yet. Our longest dry camp was in front of a diesel repair shop waiting for parts.
We own a 1995 class A 40' diesel pusher Safari Ivory Edition. We looked a long while for a nice coach we liked that didn't have slides. Going down the road or parked, our rig is ready to live in without changing a thing. It has stainless steel basement doors and full body paint. No fiberglass. The engine is a 300 Cummins and we have an Onan 6300 propane generator. There is a one of a kind mural on the back. We also pull a 2012 Ford Fiesta. We shopped a long time to get the coach we wanted and we love our Safari!
