This was our first BW site, this was truly a very nice location to hang out at for a few days. The hosts are very nice folks and we very much appreciate them sharing their location with us. Their horses, deer and ducks were the icing on the cake for heather nice stay.
So thankful that we were able to stay at Treblehook after a very long day of driving. They were so sweet when we got lost and led us to their property. A beautiful setting with a large pond , horses and plenty of deer! Took my pups for a nice walk….so relaxing. Thank you so much for the hospitality and some good Rv advice. Hope to be back soon!!
This was such a beautiful place with wild life in every corner! Very quiet and the hosts were so helpful and nice.
We are so glad to have had the chance to stay as Treblehook’s guests. The parking area is part of a beautifully maintained natural area. Deer, geese, birds, and of course pesky squirrels.
We stayed 2 nights which gave us time to tour the local attractions: Helen Keller Birthplace, Wilson Dam, Indian Mounds Park and a late lunch at Bunyan’s barbecue.
Thanks so much for such peace and quiet.
As first time Boondockers, we could not have asked for more gracious hosts or a more beautiful spot. The park-like setting was serene and inviting. Their helpful nature made us feel more relaxed and confident, and the tips they shared were most appreciated. Any member coming through this area is sure to feel blessed to have met these folks, as they make it apparent that they truly enjoy being hosts. We hope to see them again soon!!
The hosts were very welcoming & so helpful with setting up. It's a beautiful, peaceful setting to relax. The proximity to Muscle Shoals & Tuscumbia was perfect for a day of sightseeing. Love Alabama! Thank you Treblehook Hosts!
A accommodating and generous couple, with a beautiful setting. Thank you for sharing
Well, we may have met the nicest couple in Alabama. Our hosts were super friendly and we had a great conversation with them upon arrival. Their property was incredible. We arrived late in the afternoon on a rainy day so didn’t get a chance to spend a ton of time with them but they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The next day we spent an enjoyable morning chatting with hosts. I could go on but bottom line is these hosts are awesome. Just quality folks.
Do yourself a favor and request a stay here. You won’t be disappointed. I would definitely request another stay with them.
Treblehook farm owners were wonderful, hospitable hosts and their farm absolutely beautiful! We were so thankful we found and got to stay there! And our children loved every bit of it too! They let them play on their trampoline, pet horses, throw rocks in the lake and watch the deer! We savored our short time there and would love to return someday!
The hosts here at Treblehook were most welcoming, friendly and generous. To have such a beautiful place and share it with road weary travelers is a true blessing!! I felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment I was met at their gate. They offered me electric and water hookup and the freedom for me and Bitzy (my canine travel buddy) to explore and enjoy their property. A large fish pond with resident fish and geese and deer coming in for their daily feeding added to the serenity of this wonderful stay!!!
Beautiful property with views and very nice hosts. Would recommend to anyone!
The hosts made me feel welcome from the moment I drove onto the property. I was met at the entrance gate, shown to my choice of two spots and then further welcomed with a loaf of freshly baked bread (still warm!).
It’s obvious that this type of welcome is second nature to them since they did it so casually and naturally. I had a wonderful stay. This is what Boondockers Welcome is all about.
We stayed with Treblehook for a night when we were in Alabama, and we were not disappointed. They have a beautiful piece of land, complete with deer, horses, and tons of birds. We stayed up near the barn and it was quiet and peaceful.
In the morning, we were able to check out the property and walk the dogs near the pond. We also had a great conversation with our hosts about travel and life in general. We would definitely come back, and we hope they come visit us when we settle somewhere.
Thanks for a great stay. You have a wonderful place to stay! Thanks!
Gracious hosts and a beautiful place to stay. There is nothing like waking up on a 400 acre horse farm in rugged country overlooking a beautiful lake. The nicest people you’ll ever want to meet.
How fortunate I was to stay at treblehook.
J and A could not have been more welcoming.
I truly felt like I arrived a stranger and left a friend.
Their property is amazingly beautiful with ponds and rolling hills.
I was invited in for wine, beer, chili and conversation and it was truly a night to remember.
Dogs, deer, ducks and horses put a perfect cap on this beautiful setting.
I hope they will come visit Wisconsin one day.
I would love to return the hospitality.
Thanks to both of you.
What can I say! This was by far the most memorable experiences on this trip. From the reception upon arrival to spending hours together like we were some old friends. We may have been strangers a day ago but we certainly established a strong bond of friendship. The conversation at the dining table just did not seem to want to end. I truly enjoyed my time at Treblehook and look forward to hosting them at my home in Upstate New York. And, I would make the trip all the way to Alabama again to just spend some quality time with them. I would most definitely want my wife along with me so that she can also partake in the enjoyment of the location and the hosts. I wish their daughter all the success she desires. What a lovely young lady she is.
I was afforded the opportunity to stay again at Treblehook Farm on my way back home. Absolutely peaceful and gorgeous. Looking forward to my hosts making it to Florida one day soon.
Had a very restful peaceful stop.
Enjoyed the company, brochures, deer, peace , quiet and food recommendation. Felt like family and friends forever. Thankful to have crossed paths.
There are not enough words to express my thanks and gratitude for my stay at Treblehook Farm. The setting is absolutely idyllic. I was offered to extend my stay and I accepted, getting the much needed road weariness off me. My hosts took me for a tour of the dam and I understand so much more about Muscle Shoals.I feel as if I have known my hosts all my life. The horses, the birds, the deer who surrounded me at night and the owl who lulled me to sleep, made this perfect. The geese have been returning for ten years to raise a new brood and I understand why. I hope to return on my future journeys north. I'm going for a swim in the pool and then open a bottle of bubbly for my hosts.
