My wife Pat and I have been retired since 2015 and just recently purchased a fifth wheel. Our goal is to see as much of the US and Canada as we can while we have our health. We love the weather in the US southwest and want to get away from Canadian winters. We will travel in Canada in the summer. We are very much looking forward to meeting folks along the way, especially our gracious hosts.
I hope to develop RVing skills.
Yes. We have two Norwich Terriers. Mulligan is 5 years old and weighs 13 pounds. Divot is 1 year old and weighs 11.5 pounds. They love people and are very laid back for terriers. They are always a big hit wherever we go.
Don't know yet but scenic destinations would be nice.

Thanks for coming! Great conversation on arrival, but a short, quiet stay . We never saw you leave! Safe travels and welcome back anytime.
Carl, Pat, Divot & Mulligan arrived on time yesterday and once we got them parked on our driveway they joined us for Happy Hour on our patio. We ended up having a composite dinner on the patio in delightful weather after having received a good rain storm earlier in the day. We practiced our social distance and when the sun had begun to set we bid each other good night having swapped a goodly number of RVing tales and destinations we had each travelled to.
Today we provided them with a tour of the Beaver Valley and The Blue Mountains, where they saw the multitude of apple orchards, many of which are now made up of the intensive planting of small trees growing on wires to support them. We then travelled up onto the escarpment to enjoy the view over Georgian Bay and Collingwood.
We now have a standing invitation to hook-up whenever our travels intersect.. Couldn't have asked for more gracious guests.
It was great having Carl and Pat back for another visit.
Had a great time with them. Hope to see them again soon.
Carl and Pat are a very nice, friendly couple. My wife and I felt bad that the weather wasn't more cooperative during their stay but they made the best of it. It was quite windy as a storm was approaching. I think the day they visited Tahoe was very windy and there was dramatic cloud action over the Sierra crest. They have two dogs, but you'd hardly know they were around as they're so quiet. They enjoyed taking the dogs on walks on the trails near us (Fay Luther Canyon) and also in Incline Village up at the Lake. We visited with them quite a bit and learned about many different topics. They're a pleasure to have around and they're welcome back anytime they visit this area again!
A lovely, lovely couple with whom we shared wine and dog stories. Their two dogs were very friendly and our Black Lab loved playing with them. We can only hope that we cross paths in the future in order to enjoy their company again.
enjoyed their company and the shared knowledge. Looked after their pets carefully. thanks guys.
Excelent couple, traveling Eastern Canada, but the best way home is thru Maine. Very glad they made the detour so we could met them. Hope we run into them again!
It was a pleasure to host Carl, Pat and their sweet pups Mulligan and Divot. They were only with us for a couple of nights, but they were wonderful guests - very friendly but quiet and respectful of our property. Their dogs were very sweet and well behaved. We wouldn't hesitate to have them all stay with us again and we hope to meet up with them again in the future. We wish them safe travels!
PS Pat, thank you so much for the pattern...that might be something I can do to combat the boredom, too! :)
Boondockers, CarlDoucette were super appreciative and such a joy to be with.
Together we were well versed in the art of conversation and we don't think there is any subject we wouldn't be able to exchange thoughts about. Their stories and good attitudes are an aspect of BW that keeps us welcoming others to stay with us. We wish them well in their travels and hope to meet again.
Divot and Mulligan were an extra special treat, very active and ohhh so adorable.
PS: throw away those old golf clubs and take up marbles!!! LOL
It's a nice couple. They are friendly and they travel with two lovely dogs. I would highly recommend CarlDoucet anywhere as good guest.
