The folks at “ Up The Hill “ were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had an amazing campsite in the woods. Enjoyed a pleasant and interesting conversation in the warmth of there kitchen followed by a tour of there beautiful property. Most gracious hosts. Thanks very much Don Faiers
Enjoyed talking and getting to know our hosts and info about the area. There is a lot a road noise during the day but it quited down later in the evening. parking up on the hill near also was level and nice and private but the electric there is only for lights. If you need power for microwave or other item you need to park down at bottom next to the garage. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
Host are real nice folks. We had fun with them. He let me use his riding lawn mower. That was fun. Lots of room. Upper area is a big circle. Great for pull thru.
Had a lovely visit with our infomative hosts. They suggested a different route to our next desination which was very enjoyable. A great place to stay.
Thank you both so very much for hosting us at your beautiful property along the Trans-Canada highway. You were both so gracious to accept our request despite the fact that you both had just returned from your own camping trip. You were both gracious in touring your piece of paradise, playing show and tell with your grapes, gardens, tractors and such. Although it was hot, we caught a lovely breeze from your spot up the hill which made sleeping easy in what is likely to be the hottest week of 2019. We hope to maybe get in another trip up north this year, and will see you again if we can make that happen. You are both so welcome to use our patch where Salem ends... any time.
P..& D.. generously welcomed us onto their remote property along the TransCanada Highway. We enjoyed a peaceful night after a very in depth conversation covering the topic of entrepreneurship. They are two self-made folks who genuinely enjoy visitors.
It is difficult to describe such a nice , cultural and friendly people as our first hosts from " Up the hills" as boondockers.
Very quiet place overnight next to very bussy TransCanada Hwy during the day hours.
One more time : MERCI BEAUCOUP to Great hosts from Up the hills
Thank You Boondockers
Welcome ,for a great idea.
This is a beautiful property and you can see a lot of hard work has been put into it. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed a good conversation. Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a great stay at "up the hill" . We had to leave early so didn't have time to say thank you to Paul & Dianne. We appreciate all they do for fellow RVers.
Great host. Very private site. Close to trans Canada, perfect for traveling. Highly recommend :)
Very welcoming couple with a great site. Thanks again for letting us stay with you.
An absolutely wonderful couple who were kind enough to share their terrific RV space with us and walk around the village with us. Thank you!
This was our first boondocker experience and it was amazing. Paul and his wife greeted us late evening with a great smile. Their lawn has great quiet and private place for parking where we rested. We had our two dogs with us and it didnt bother them all. I highly recommend them.
We had a nice chat and had a good night rest on a beautiful place.

Inspite of arriving very early in the season these hosts graciously accommodated us in getting settled, helping us level our RV, provided great conversation.
Lovely host. We shared a bottle of wine, dinner with great conversation. The spot was flat and off the road.
We were lucky to meet this wonderful couple and we talked for a few hours. Pleasant discussion about life, politics and vegetarian culinary. We were scheduled to stay 2 days but due to the weather we wanted to arrive earlier at our next destination so we stayed only 1 night. We want to thank Paul and Diane for allowing us to stay at their land. Beautiful place up the hill with lots of "cache" spots to discover.
Merci beaucoup et à la prochaine! :)

Paul and Diane were the most hospitable hosts! It's obvious that they truly enjoy hosting and meeting people. In addition, they have created a great site, level and pretty, a bit up the hill. Highly recommended!
C’était magnifique. La reception, faire connaissance, l’appéro, mais surtout l’emplacement à passer la nuit, les légumes du jardin. On a été très généreux. Mais aussi: Up the hill dans toute tranquilité.
Merci beaucoup et au revoir.

We were very fortunate to stay at Up The Hill for our first BW experience. The hosts were generous, gracious, and fun.
We can't imagine having better hosts for our first BW stay.
Our stay was very pleasant, mainly because these hosts are so gracious and hospitable. A number of sites were a available, each one easy to get into and good spots for our rig. Thank you so much!
Wonderful spot to spend the night. We were immediately invited in and given drinks. Later we sat around their table and shared stories for several hours.
Hope you can come visit us sometime.
They could host a rally on their beautiful property.
Wonderful people. Interesting conversation.
Hope to see them again.
This was my first experience with this site after typically staying in Walmart lots. Paul and Diane couldnt have been sweeter or more accommodating to my needs. I sleep in my car while traveling and since it was my 70th birthday, they surprised me by letting me sleep in their van so I could stretch out for the night. It was lovely and cool and they even treated me to a much needed shower. Paul is church organist and it was great to hear him play. I couldnt have had a better experience!
We had a great time meeting Paul and Diana. They had lots of great information to share with us. Super friendly. Paul helped us get situated just right for a great night's sleep.
This place is like a little paradise! Very nice hosts! Lovely garden and a lot of space. Thanks a lot for Hosting us.
Super friendly and accommodating. Can't thank Paul and Diane enough. Kids ran free and helped with caterpillars!
Paul, Marie and the kids.
Easy to find lovely location. Couple very friendly offering advise and Happy to meet us
I would highly recommend this place
Right off the highway. Slow down in the last curve since the entrance is right there.
Great couple and lots of room to walk around and relax.
I will be back next time i'm in the area.
Driveway is right off trans Canada 17. Host's, Up the Hill, responded promptly and gave us clear instructions. We only stayed a night but it was peaceful and felt safe.
A warm welcome and refreshments on arrival. Lovely people to chat with. Nice private location to park away from the highway. Thanks for the great stay.
I was travelling solo and felt very welcome by those kind persons. It was a nice and safe place to stay along the journey through Canada. Thank you!
A great spot to stay with pathways in the woods. However you must walk up the rock hill and take in the view! Thanks "Up The Hill" for a great night.
We had a nice time meeting and talking, and walking around their place. We sat around talking until late evening. There is plenty of room back the drive to park turn around, with sun or shade.
The first boondocking experience is great with these couple and place. They are very nice, friendly and helpful. We shared some RV experience and had very happy conversation. The property is beautiful, quiet and at a very convenient location. If we go to that area again, we will visit them again for sure and welcome them boondocking at our place.
Great little spot, real close the the highway ,easy to find, nice spot on a small hill.Played a little music with them. Hope to see them again, next time through.
We couldn't make the timing work for an overnight boondock but stopped in to upthehill on our way through. Very nice people and a convenient stopover off Highway 17. They have a pretty little hill to park on, up the hill back from their house. Maybe next time.
