Recently bought our first RV, and LOVE it! We've already decided that we'll sell the stick and brick when we upgrade to our next RV :) Trent travels for work during the week, all over the US, and Melanie is a telecommuter and works from the RV - it's a blessed life we have.

Late arrival and still welcome

We stayed here on the day after Christmas (Boxing day to all you Canadians) and were severely delayed due to traffic. We were warmly welcomed even though quite a lot later than we had originally planned. Unfortunately their driveway location wasn't available that day but the street location (a cul-de-sac) proved safe and level. We were even checked out by the local police force to make sure we were OK. Turns out we were in front of the Chief of Police's house and someone else had called it in to be checked. All polite and smiles and we were content that this is a secure and well patrolled area. As we were so late we didn't want to impose on their hospitality any further otherwise we would have liked to get to know them better. We would welcome a reciprocal visit if we could accommodate their rig anytime.
