Well maintained Jaycee Grewyhawk 25 ft class C. Husband & wife traveling to visit family on the west coast. We are active Boondockers Welcome hosts in the Salt Lake City area.
Their stay was brief and I had a busy schedule so didn't get to talk with them much, but they were polite, communicated well, and were pleasant guests. We would invite them back anytime. :)
Flexible, communicative, quiet, friendly. 10 out of 10 many times over.
Stay only one night. very nice and quiet.
Really had a good time visiting with the Wampthing couple. They only stayed overnight on the way to parts West. But they're welcome back anytime. I think they realize that there's a lot to see and do in the area, so maybe down the road, we'll see them again.
We have lots of fun staying in this city, thank you for the safe parking spot!
Great place to stay, decent proximity to Salt Lake City. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Easy to park, level gravel service, good sun for solar.
2 nights in a row. Nice quiet place and the host was great! Always there with an answer quickly
Plenty of room to back in my 30ft trailer. The host was friendly and responded to every text quickly.
We had a really great stay super close to Salt Lake City here. It was really easy to find, close to the highway, and a roomy gravel area off the side of a huge driveway. The host also generously offered a free electrical hook up and extension cord to reach our rig.The neighborhood was mostly quiet, although you could hear car noise in the distance at night, and one of the neighbors has dogs that bark a lot. The hosts were amazing, super thoughtful and really great to chat with. They were really responsive and treated us with a lot of kindness. Would absolutely stay here again!
We had such an easy and chill stay here. 15 Amp power was a nice bonus. Flexibility to run generator during day when AC is needed. Thanks again!
It is a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. Her flowers are in bloom and beautiful! We didn’t get to meet our hosts, unfortunately, but they were so kind to leave an extension cord for our use. We really appreciated that since we have been having mechanical problems left and right and we were so tired and hot! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay!
Nice level and quiet spot in a lovely neighborhood. Quick communications, perfect. Thanks!
We are so grateful to the Wampthing family for allowing us to stay on their property. It was easy to back into the gravel driveway space and there was enough space for our 30’ trailer and SUV. We were offered 15 amp power but we didn’t need it. We were able to come and go as much as we wanted while we visited the city. I would stay here again!
Stopped here for an overnight on my way through Salt Lake City. Perfect spot with an accommodating host. Loved riding my bike around this area and knowing my rig was parking safely somewhere while I ran a few errands
Wampthing is an outstanding host who has a wonderful spot to share. It has convenient access to the freeway but is on a quiet dead-end street. There is easy access for backing your RV into the wide gravel space. The bus stop is only a block away if you want make an easy trip into Salt Lake City.
Wampthing was warm and welcoming. The parking area was very easy to back into. We highly recommend staying here!
I had an unexpected change of plans and Wampthing accepted my stay on very short notice. When I arrived he was very generous to offer power for free and wouldn’t accept my cash. He let me be and I was very thankful for that since I had some work to get done. Nice neighborhood with sidewalks and my pup enjoyed the walks.
We so appreciate our stay here! Although our interactions we're very limited with our hosts because we spent time with family here, they were easy to communicate with, left us with an extension cord, and an easy, wide access to a wonderful parking spot. Definitely top notch!
We had a last minute change of route due to a storm coming through the area. The host was super nice to put us up for the night. Thank you so much.
Located close to interstates. Gravel pad was excellent for parking rig and toad. Not only did they have 15A available as advertised, but even provided an extension cord. Did not get to meet hosts, but messages sent by host were sufficient to make this a great stay.
nice flat gravel parking area, and a super cool and welcoming host. Thank You!
Gracious hosts. Parking is along side their home on a level, solid crushed rock space. They are convenient to all the Salt Lake sites, shopping and I-15 access.
We did not get to interact with the host but they are in a very nice area. Felt very safe and it was a quiet space. Thanks so very much. We hope to stay again.
Very close to any amenities you may need. Host is super responsive and accommodating. Quiet dead end residential street with plenty of room to maneuver
This was a nice level gravel spot in a quiet neighborhood. The Wampthing family was very accommodating and generous, and allowed us to use some power from their home, which let us keep our tank heaters on throughout the cold night without needing to use the generator. Thanks again!
