Hello, I am a recently retired French immersion teacher as well as a writer and journalist. My husband is a retired electronics technician. We live in a great location near beaches and golf courses a short 15 minute drive from downtown Victoria.
We have four grown kids who are spread out over the face of the planet so we do a fair bit of air travel. Tents, sleeping bags, and tiny stoves have often been part of our luggage as we camped our way around France, Switzerland, and even Hawaii. We joined the RV community a couple of years ago when I bought a Boler to restore.
On summer evenings we enjoy wine and conversation on our treetop deck. Visiting boondockers would be most welcome to join us.
I can sew and have made and repaired several vintage style trailer awnings.
Tom is good as wiring.
I am a bit of an Apple computer geek and can probably teach you something you don't know.
Ici on parle francais!
Tom is the amazing gourmet cook in the family.
If you want to learn how to make goat cheese or French baguettes then talk to me!

Our big adventure last winter took us on a loop tour from Victoria, BC all the way to Roswell, New Mexico. Five weeks in a 13 foot Boler... in winter... and yes we even had to camp in snow! So in March 2012 I sold the Boler and upgraded to a 2008 Trillium Outback built in Calgary, Alberta. She is not much bigger but has a propane heater, a dual battery system, a reliable fridge, great lighting, and insulation! The Trillium weighs in at 1400 lbs and we pull her with a 2010 Subaru Forester. Alright all you big rig people stop laughing!!! All I can say is I really like MY fuel bill when I'm filling up beside a Ford F350 pick-up;-)
