Pleasure Way Van
It was nice to meet Sundance, albeit briefly, a very pleasant couple. We met them when the arrived and again when they were leaving. They arrived when they said they would and left early the next morning to continue their adventure. We hardly knew they were here.
A lovely couple who truly enjoy the outdoor life in all its forms; so hope to visit them out west one day!
Friendly and nice fols.
Will look forward for returning visit
I’m glad the weather cooperated for your cycling trip. We didn’t get a chance to visit much, but perhaps we’ll cross paths again - we just might take you up on your Boondocking offer one day!
Great to have such a lovely couple stay as our first boondocking visitors. Sorry we couldn't spend more time.
A big thanks to Sundance for their hospitality and kindness.
A quiet and peaceful place and only 20mn to Victoria.
We loved to share with us a lot of stories and travel experiences.
Thank you very very much for your time and your good advices.
What a pleasure to host this couple. It was interesting to learn about the 100's of rhododendrons they grow. We enjoyed sharing travel stories and would host them again anytime.

« Magnifique » site ❤️ Ann & Yan are really nice people to meet, friendly and helpful... hope see them again! Thanks a lot for all ♥️.
Wonderful, private spot on a beautiful acreage with friendly hosts! Thank you so much for sharing your space!
This was our best boondookers spot yet!!! Oh, did we mention.......IT WAS OUR 1ST! :D
But we feel that it really set the bar high! Our hosts were ideal and we did indeed feel "Welcomed" in every way. A little vase of sweetpeas also welcomed us to our cozy spot on their beautiful property! A true 'hiatus' in the middle of a busy city! We wanted to visit Butchart Gardens (absolutely gorgeous place) and it was not far away at all. Quiet & peaceful, day or night. We look forward to visiting again someday! Thanks to our great hosts!
Thank you for such a nice stay. The property was beyond our expectations, and probably one of the nicest host locations we’ve ever enjoyed. Our hosts were wonderful, very helpful, and super friendly! We would have had no problem spending a few more days if time permitted! Best wishes and happy travels to you both!
Peaceful, tranquil site
Thank you so much😊
These 2 hosts were the best. He met me at the gate to their property upon my arrival, guided me onto the gorgeous trailer pad, and fabricated a cotter pin for my sway bar before I was even finished setting up.
Their 3 acre, manicured property is simply beautiful. I spent 3 nights with them while enjoying conferences at the Fair Grounds, and Golf Course in Duncan.
This was my first Boondocker experience. My wife and I are looking forward to many, many more similar stays as we trek across the USA and back to Vancouver Island Canada in our 12 foot Taylor Coach Bobbie on our June to November 2019 tour.
We enjoyed staying at Sundance Gardens! Ian and Anne were generous with their time and lovely location. After completing the circle driving tour they suggested, we came back to stay before boarding ferry to head home.
We enjoyed staying here so much it was like coming home. We would love to stay another time.
Thanks again for letting us stay on your property. Our hometrip went well and we are already missing Canada. Since you told us about our former queen Beatrix, living in Canada we have experienced that very little people know that in the Netherlands :-)
I wish you well and if you want to visit the Netherlands, just let us know.
All the best,
Sandra and Erik
Ann and Ian are lovely hosts and the spot is fantastic. Their property and garden are quiet and beautiful and we were greeted with the sounds of nature every morning!
Our Rv got a beautiful place with everything on it and, even with table and chairs for the door. We have enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts, + the vegetables from the garden.
We enjoyed each other's travel stories, each other's hobbies and work materials. We have had a wonderful time on this place. Thanks for that. You know where we live and you can also enjoy cycling. So ... ... Robert and Nelleke
Well, this is my 2nd stay with Boondockers Welcome and I am sold. This site was amazing. I felt like I was staying in an extension of Butchart Gardens. My hosts were fascinating people and kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
Our request for a stay was graciously accepted, and though we had to cancel before completing it, our hosts were understanding of our change and encouraged us to request again in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay with Ian en Anne. A warm welcome in the beautiful garden with lovely colorful flowers. We enjoy 2 days in Victoria.
Ian en Anne welcomed us in there house to share the stories of there travels en appelpie! :)
We hope we can welcome them once in Holland so we can bake e real dutch appelpie for them.
Thanks so much .
These hosts are unbelievably welcome and their property I'm the woods is absolutely stunning. We even started one night longer then planned. Thank you for sharing your home, time and experience with us!
They met us at their gate and were just so accommodating and friendly. They have pretty walking trails across their property, a beautiful garden and even shared some of the fruit with us. The site is up a hill and a tad tricky to get into but they were also helpful with that! These hosts even went so far as to give us maps and brochures of local museums and recommendations on authors. Just an interesting, pleasant and thoughtful couple in a relaxing quiet neighborhood. We were so thrilled to stay here and hope to do so again someday.
We were on a early spring trip throughout vancouver island, and sundance hosted us for 3 nights. They made us feel very welcome and even invited us for supper the first day. as other boondockers wrote, sundance will get known for the yummy homemade applepie! they got a beautyful house in the woods, and a lovely oven. it was a pleasure to meet them, wish you a great cycling trip in europe. thanks for all your support. flurin and yvonne
We loved staying at Sundance's place! We faithfully followed our GPS's left-right-left etc instructions and found ourselves exactly as promised at the driveway. We admired the veggie garden with jumbo onions, were allowed to pick our supper of beans, and soaked up the peace and quiet of the place.
Once our hosts came home we spent an enjoyable evening sharing stories and repeated this the next morning over coffee.
Sundance, thank you for your great hospitality! We hope that you'll come and visit us one day!
What a pleasure to meet Sundance. They have a wonderful garden with the perfect set up for RV guests. As we are overseas visitors they really helped us out with tips and maps. Ian even made us some levelling blocks. Just overwhelmed by their kindness.
Anne & Ian were wonderful hosts! We stayed at their place for two nights and they did everything to make our stay the most comfortable as possible! Besides inviting us for dessert (if you go on like this, you'll be famous for your apple pie! ;)...), they told us their travel stories, they hooked us up with everything we needed and even connected us with their friends to help us out on our job search. Once more: Thank you for everything!
We stayed one night at this beautiful rural property and were welcomed with a little gift of produce from you their vegetable garden. We were offered water and 30 amp service at a nice level private site. Very friendly and thoughtful couple. Highly recommended.
These folks hosted us for one night and made sure we knew we were welcome to stay again whenever. They grow Rhododendrons as a hobby and even though they are close to Victoria they have ten fabulous treed acres. Not only did we have water,we also had electric hook-up.....they even invited us over for dessert after dinner...great hosts...thanks...Doug and Cheryl
