Ed & Cathy have taken the 1st step to full time RVing...Just bought our 5th wheel!!
Ed is an avid Live Steamer - meaning that he builds steam plants, steam trains and steam boats which all use real steam from a boiler to provide power. He learned this from his father and has passed the love onto our sons. Cathy likes the rolling stock better and especially enjoys the vintage ones.
Cathy loves learning - EVERYTHING - but especially history. I'm also a HUGE baseball fan - especially the Phillies & the Madisonville Minors - but I enjoy watching the minor leagues, high school and college kids playing also
We also enjoy riding bikes, digging around antique shops and auctions.
Ed can figure out how to fix anything!
Cathy can sew when the mood strikes but my real talent is finding and encouraging talent in others.
We have a cat who owns us - so technically - no - our cat has 2 pet humans. She is strictly an indoor cat and you'll never see her since she is skittish around new people. We've added another cat who belonged to Ed's father and adopted us at his passing in February.
EVERYONE we have stayed at has been a perfect host!! So happy we've found this site.
Currently in Madisonville, KY. Cathy grew up in Clearwater, FL but was born in Tennessee. Ed was born in Massachusetts but grew up in Orlando.

We didn't meet SaleySteamers, but they were clear and friendly in their communications.
Great time and great people.
Come back anytime.
Thanks for joining in on holiday.
Friendly couple that we enjoyed having as guests. Only here one night but got to visit and share our hobbies and interests. They are welcome back anytime and we’ll try to visit them if we ever get close to Mickey Mouse Land!!
Enjoyed meeting the SaleySteamers! Happy trails...welcome back anytime.
The yard was beautiful, quiet and well kept. The town is cute with lots of history. We really enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! If you have a bigger rig, (40ft and up) just park at the end of the driveway. :)
Great place to rest. Love the yard and trees. Wonderful place to enjoy the sunset with lots of shade. I hope to be able to stay with them again.
Had a great couple of days in Orlando hosts looked after me really well including a splash in their pool very handy for everything recommend
We stayed in Cathy’s driveway for two nights. Convenient 15a power and water hookups, although we had just filled out water the night before so we only used power. Cathy gave us the run of the backyard also, we used the pool, and there is a grill and nice patio area for lounging around.
We were welcomed as family and treated like royalty! The kids cooled off in the pool daily. They enjoyed having the kids! Thank you so much!
We had the priviledge of being their first guests since they are recently members of BW. And SaleySteamers were perfect hosts. A warm welcome… We felt being part of their family. We enjoyed having our dinner in their garden. Even Mr Racoon told us Hello… During the evening, they shared their passion and hobby. That is amazing!!! Should I give more details on this passion??? Not at all, better other members discovering this passion in visiting SaleySteamers.
Thanks again. You are warmly welcome at our home in Québec City, Canada,
