I myself am a Navy veteran, and retried from being a Drafter/Designer of various equipment from medical CAT scanners, heat sealing equipment, robot arms, and large industrial blast freezers. I have six adult children in which my wife and I homeschooled until they went to college, or decided to attend high school. My lovely partner is a retired public school teacher having taught in Texas for many years and here in North Carolina.
Not sure I have any expertise related to RV'ing, but having bought a 2001 AirStream motorhome last year, I'm learning a lot having to remodel and fix so many things.
We have a two year old rescued lab-a-doodle. He is currently undergoing training to hopefully be a therapy dog at some point. He's pretty laid back, loves people and totally enjoys being petted.
really don't have any favorite boondocking locations at this time. We officially retired just a couple years ago, built this house, and than bought a RV in 2018 to do some traveling. Have only used the RV for some local stays at two local parks locally, and at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
Currently live on the southern side of Guildford county, North Carolina outside Greensboro and High Point on 1.5 acres. I designed the house, was general contractor, electrician, finish plumber, trim carpenter and maintenance man.
A 2001 AirStream 30ft Land Yacht. Presently have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe as a tow car, pulled on a car dolly.
Enjoyed talking with you guys. I know you are good people because "Beauregard " said so. I may have spelled his name wrong but don't tell him. Stop by again if your travels bring you this way.
Quiet with a great four-legged kid who enjoyed playing my own four-legged pal. We welcome them back gladly, any time.
