We currently have our 1996 18 foot Gulfstream on a semi-permanent spot in a conservation club in Central Ohio. Prior to buying this unit last fall we were tent campers and still take the tent out to some state parks occasionally. We like to hike and kayak (calmer white water for me!). I had never heard of Boondocking until I happened on this site. It is a very intriguing and sounds like a great way to travel and meet people!!

I am a good cook, good on computer, good listener and pretty level headed. My guy is mechanically inclined and can fix just about anything. Together we built our deck and have figured out how to make a primitive campsite work like one with hookups...generator, solar panels, inverter, etc.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

As you can see from the photo we aren't very mobile with this camper right now. Once we are retired we would love to see more of our beautiful country. Unfortunately we don't have any space right now to host fellow campers.
