I am an introvert who enjoys his privacy, but also feels that restoring common unity among humanity is a pursuit that more people need to focus on. Providing a spot for travelers to rest, without treating them as a commodity, is one small way I can do that. All are welcome. If you're the type that only requires a minimal amount of interaction, that is fine. There's no expectation of bonding here. However, I'm happy to help those who may require additional hospitality.
Should you have any basic vehicle/RV repair and/or fabrication projects, it's likely I have what you need to accomplish it.
Pretty handy with computers and printers. Can probably help you with most PC or printer problems. Know enough about networking them too.
Good cook. Make my own recipe of beer bread I'm well know for among family and friends.
Competent at using sewing machine.
Feel free to ask for help with anything. Or bread, if you'd like to try it.
Haven't been to any yet.
We stayed 2 nights at BoondockRavenna. The host is very nice and welcoming! Even had printed info about what’s around for us.
We set up by the pond. Heard lots of frogs at night and our daughter was happy to see rabbits around.
Thank you for the great stay, tasty bread and friendly visit!
Splendid. BoondockRavenna was a great experience for our family. The host was enjoyable to be around and easy going—he even took me fishing and had dinner with us.
If you’re traveling to the upper peninsula of Michigan, or down from Canada, he’s a great representative-a kind soul like many of us RVers. Truly glad he was part of our journey. Stay here if you can!
BoondockRavenna was such a gracious host! We really enjoyed getting to know one another. Wayden Farm is lovely with a natural pond in the front. We parked right in the front because the rain had been so extensive, but the property is beautiful and our host gave us great ideas about the area for site seeing. This was a wonderful experience. Thanks BoondockRavenna!! We will definitely call on you again when we're in the area!!
