My husband, Doug, and I are the parents of four young adults, all of whom are in various stages of professional careers or university. We are both retired school teachers. We read, travel, and value time with our immediate and extended family. Life is good; there is always a new experience to be enjoyed and something new to learn.
Lots of information about camping in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. Good resource for our immediate area.
Gus, our seven year old miniature schnauzer.
Haida Gwaii, Newfoundland.
Cirrus 800 truck camper on a 3500 GMC Sierra.
It was a pleasure hosting patriciaschwandt and puppy. We very much enjoyed chatting during their stay with us and we hope to stay connected and perhaps meet up again.
For this couple from Alberta it was there first experience with BW and although we only had a short time to talk to them any other host would love to greet them on their property and we will visit there spot when we get the chance to go on our Alaska trip sometimes
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet our hosts as they were away. But they gave us the go-ahead to park and access to power even in their absence. Very kind. It was easy (street) parking. And very easy to get level without the use of any gadgetry.
