We are recently retired, Mark from the Radio and TV industries and Claudia from childcare and hospital administration. We intend to travel extensively in out new-to-us 2014 Winnebago Travato Class B, nicknamed "Howlin Wolf." We are avid hikers and cyclists and wish to visit many National Parks in the future.
Claudia enjoys quilting and Mark plays guitar and aviation. We are also avid sailors. Our intent is to meet interesting and fun folks on our journeys.
We are also looking for volunteer opportunities in the western part of the US. We are low key and respectful of other people's properties. The acoustic guitar gets put back in its case by 10pm.
Claudia can fabricate anything out of material. Mark can make or repair canvas items such as RV awnings, boat covers, sails, etc. Mark is a licensed ham operator, KC5SMH operating on 2 meters mobile.
No pets - just a couple of stuffed toy mascots. So far, they have been very quiet.
Wind River Casino in Riverton Wyoming.
We reside on the outskirts north of Edmond, Oklahoma. There we have a small house on one acre and a large shop where we winter both the Winnebago and a 17' Casita trailer. We lived in town during our careers but downsized so that we could have fewer home ownership concerns when we traveled. At this time, we are not registered as host because our home is rather far off the interstate and there are probably more practical options for RV travelers.
2014 Class B Winnebago Travato. No slideouts. Includes an air conditioner when needed and a generator which is rarely used.
We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet new friends. Very interesting conversion and many common interests explored. Definitely a positive visit👍🏽
We had a super fun evening. Enjoyed dinner and conversation. A very good experience with a very nice couple.
