I have been camping for almost half a century, my wife, almost as long. She enjoys camping and boating but hunting and fishing are my interests. We have been retired over 15 years now and love it. RVing is a convenient way of seeing great places. Have had all sorts of campers. Now have a truck camper and love it. My wife calls it the turtle because like a turtle, we carry our house on our back.
A little bit of everything from carpentry to twin screw boat operation.
We lost our Wheaten several months ago and at this time have no plans to get another dog.

This is our truck camper which is only 17 feet front to rear. When mounted on our 4X4 pickup, it is 22 feet from front bumper to rear of the unit. The width is 7.5 feet. It has a plug for 30 Amp, but can also use 15 amp service. Electric is definitely appreciated, but can survive without if necessary. I use my water tank, so would appreciate being able to top it off.
It was a pleasure hosting Overtime. They updated us on their arrival time and their unit is super compact. I was disappointed that I didn't get to say Hi, as my work schedule was super busy. They left us a lovely note and thank you gift, which was much appreciated. Hopefully they will be out our way again and I will get the chance to actually say hello.
Unfortunately we didn’t actually get to meet while they were here but we had great communication. We hope they will come back.
