We are a couple trying to see all 50 states while camping with our two chihuahuas Chiquita and Rio.
We are new to boondocking, but not to camping in general. We have had this RV for 4 years, but previously had a Little Guy tear drop trailer. So far we have camped in 15 states and would be happy to share any knowledge learned along the way.
We have 2 chihuahuas a boy(Rio) and a girl (Chiquita) who both travel with us. We also have a cat named Paws, but he stays back guarding the home base.
No favorites yet! We can’t wait to find our favorites. At this writing our boondocking experiences have included store parking lots, but we are anxious to change that.

RV and I would look forward to hosting once again and they would be welcome at any time. They arrived as expected and with no issues encountered during their stay. Once greeted they set themselves up alongside the pond and had a quiet evening of rest before departing early the next morning. Safe travels my friends!
honeymoonsuite was on their way home so only stayed a short time but were very nice and relaxed. I enjoyed talking with them and hearing about their travels. They are welcomed guests anytime!
They arrived in time to join up the other guests at the camp fire and shared stories with us all. The next day they took a day trip to New Orleans and rode the Streetcar around town. I was happy they were in no hurry to leave the next morning as we discussed solar power and generators for RV camping. Plus they are renovating another rig I hope they come back in for me to see. They can visit anytime so we can share more stories and RV info.
Good, accommodating host. Nice quiet in-town location with a view. Two bars of AT&T for my hotspot. What's not to like? If you are traveling Int 81, this is a good layover. Give them a try.
I setup and was greeted by Ami with her mask and electric. I met Trip later from a distance and it's unfortunate the virus was still in effect. We could only briefly say Hi and I thanked them for hosting me during this troubling time. I hope we can see each other again under better circumstances since you guys look like a lot of fun dressed up like Fred and Wilma Flintstone in your pictures.. I did get to say Hi to Rio and Chiquita later behind the fence. Beautiful little town driving through on a spring evening.
