My wife and I are both retired. We have always loved to travel and now that the kids are gone we have been travelling to lots of places in Europe and North America. We like to bike, hike and sail. My wife is a part time bridge instructor, and life master. I have an old (1977) Honda CB750 motorcycle that I love to ride. We just bought our first motorhome in the summer of 2018, and did a lot of short trips around Nova Scotia to get the kinks out. In the winter of 2018 we had our first long trip, visiting the US SW for 3 months. Looking forward to future adventures.
I am a jack of some trades, but master of none. I do have quite a few tools that I'm willing to share if needed.
No pets, but we love dogs, and would welcome them with our guests
We have not been RVing long enough to have a lot of boondocking experience , but we found a lot of great spots in our recent trip to Arizona and Utah. We are just starting to find some really nice locations in our own province.
Lifelong natives of Nova Scotia. We have lived in Halifax most of our lives.
2017 Pleasureway Ascent. Sprinter chassis. Total length is 19'7" (23' if we are travelling with our bike rack). Width ~ 8', height ~10'.
We were so pleased to have this couple stay on our property. They are so positive and pleasant and we can tell they are loving the boondocker travel experience. We truly hope to see them again!
We got to meet them and wished we had more time together. They were very helpful and had lots of knowledge to pass on. Looking forward to their next visit...
I was thrilled to host Bluenosers for one night. Great communication, more than polite. They invited me in to see their home on wheels and we ended up chatting for a good long time. I very much enjoyed their company and would welcome them back ANY time.
PS sorry for my late feedback. I thought I had already left this! whoops ;)
Great boondockers from Canada! Enjoyed meeting and conversing and hope to meet up again in our travels. They will always be welcome at our place.
They were kind and accommodating. The short trip to town made seeing the highlights such a breeze. Hope to return.
For our first experience, we were very impressed with the efficency of the reservation. Our hosts were so very nice and welcoming. There location is ideal because easy access to Downtown Halifax and in a quiet neigbourhood. Thank you !
Bluenosers invited us into their home and gave us great tipps for our travel route. We really enjoyed the evening talking with them about their favorite spots and would like to thank them for their generosity.
We can just say thank you, thank you for all your help. We like to give you one day back somehow what we experienced with you. Any time again!
Welcoming people! They took time to show us what to visit in the city even though they had others plans . Good intimacy for a city place.
Loved camping in the city!!!! Mister Bluenoser was very helpful and I appreciate help always!!!!
What a nice spot! Lots of green and peace and quiet. Great access to Halifax. Very welcoming couple would stay in future.
We had a nice overnight stay in Halifax. We enjoyed meeting our hosts and spending time in the evening chatting with them. Their location is very convenient to the downtown waterfront including the Maritime Museum and the Citadel. We would definitely like to stay with them the next time we visit Halifax.
We really appreciated bluenosers and highly recommend their location. They are wonderful people!
We had a great time staying at Bluenoser’s. We found them to be extremely friendly and hospitable hosts with lots of local tips and advice. We also enjoyed hearing stories of their big adventure!
Their location couldn’t be better! They had ample space and we took a bus from the end of their street into downtown, which was really quick and convenient.
We highly recommend Bluenosers and would happily host them if they are ever in our area!
