John and Deborah have lived in multiple states.
Buffeted by hi winds enroute, I found the peace I was looking for. At the airport? Not one plane. Trains? The soulful whistle off in distance gave me a restful sleep. Now the rooster crowing at 5am (I was already up!), was the icing on the cake. What a great memory of my childhood to start my day! Loved it. And delightful hosts! Thanks a million!
As a train buff, I loved what they’ve done to preserve the old Pullman car. Definitely worth stoping. Be sure to try one of their lunch options and certainly a tasting.
The owned family business were super sweet. The location is quiet and easy reach. We bought a bottle of their delicious rum even though it isn't usually our favorite drink. Highly recommended.
D3 Spirits is located in more of an industrial area. But this area is relatively quiet compared to other parts of Kingman that have train tracks close by. We had a pleasant stay here. Had a great rum and whiskey tasting and had lunch in their train car. Very cool. We thought the rums in particular were very good and bought some as gifts. Definitely would stay here again.
Be sure to arrive in time for lunch and a tasting!! Our server was entertaining and knowledgeable about the distilling process and the cook prepared wonderful tasty paninis. Can’t wait to come by Kingman again for another overnight stay. Thanks to all that made our stay pleasant.
We enjoyed our stay at D3. Took a tour of the operation and had a tasting as well. Left with some nice additions to our liquor cabinet. Will definitely stay again.
Very gracious hosts. Deborah gave us a tour of the process of making Rum. Very informative.
Nice level parking spots.
A great stop with nice people. If you go there, be sure and try their Agave Rum. Very tasty! Nice concrete
driveway with lots of room, 5 rvs were parked there when I was there. Plenty of room. I only wish their
planned restaurant (in the train car) was open. I would have enjoyed trying it out.
We had a great experience at D3Spirits. The owner gave us a tour of their facility and explained the alcohol making process which we knew nothing about. She patiently answered all our questions. After the tour we did a tasting of some of their products. She is passionate about her business and it shows they take pride in their work.
Their location is easy to find and we had no trouble getting there. Upon arrival, we decided to back in our 30' travel trailer and had no problems as there was plenty of room to maneuver. We parked up against a wooden fence in their front lot and the fence helped block the wind and we had a peaceful nights rest. There is an airport nearby but we didn't hear any plane noise. The property was clean and well maintained.
We would stay at this location again. Thank you for being BW Hosts and teaching us about your products!
Enjoyed our tour and tasting...very informative! Friendly and accommodating.
When we pulled into Desert Diamond Distillery in mid-March 2019, we were warmly greeted, and instructed on how easy it was to boondock for the night on a concrete paved level surface. Our hosts, Deborah and John Patt were very gracious and extremely passionate about their distilling. The Distillery tour was fascinating and given with interesting facts and lots of levity. Their rum spirits are ‘top-shelf’ and complemented with a few high-end products to enhance your dining pleasures.
We look forward to returning to D3Spirits to purchase more of their terrific rum spirits.
