I am a 64 year old single man. I retired January 1, 2014 from a 45 year career in the steel joist industry. I enjoy fishing as well as hunting. I do a lot of camping, especially on the spur of the moment. I also have an 80 acre gold claim in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I am a member of the Lost Dutchman's Mining Association, so I have hundreds of places to gold pan and camp, when I want to. I enjoy traveling around just to enjoy being out and about with no particular place to go. I have traveled almost an entire day just to look at a couple of historical markers. I spend time at a cabin I own on 40 acres in the mountains 30 miles south of Cloudcroft New Mexico. It was cut off of a large private ranch with a locked gate. If it was not for the locked gate, I would offer it as a free boondocking location.

Quanah Texas, a small west Texas town 75 miles west of Wichita Falls and 150 miles east of Amarillo on US Hwy 287. Our county has more horses than people.
I have an 1995 Airstream class B RV in very nice condition. They built only six and never built any more. I tow a dual swivel wheel trailer behind it which makes it easy as pie to back up and it carries tools, generators, gas, extra water, and propane and keeps the RV free from clutter. I also have a 1988 VW camper with less than 100k miles on her in almost perfect condition. It is really a great boondocking vehicle. I also have a nice teardrop camper for getting into the woods with my 4WD Toyota pickup truck.
