My brother calls me the Road Warrior as I have traveled from East to West coast visiting famiy and friends since I lost my husband in Oct 2009. Usually I am by myself but sometimes I have a friend or child with me. I belong to a Ramblin Rose camping group where we meet once a month to play many types of games, eat, and fellowship together. Still learning the Rving experience!
UPDATE: Now Rick and I are traveling together with our lab dog.. DId our first caravan tour and loved it - have a whole new family!! Have done several rallies and joined some new RV clubs.
Yes I have a 7 year old lab. Hard to find big places where the large lab can run a bit at rv parks.
No favorites as we have not used anyones location at this time.
I am originally from Chelmsford, Mass. Moved to Texas after the 1978 blizzard to raise my three children, because my Mother use to live here but has passe away in 2018. Now I am located in Edna Texas
38 foot Thor Outlaw 37LS Toyhauler 2015 model with height of 13.5 ft has one slide out - new experience for me to drive compared to my little 24 ft Winnebago I had for four years. Can operate with 50 amp or run generator.
Although we didn’t get to meet our hosts, they allowed us to stay overnight, we had water and electricity, with a very nice view. The small slope of the driveway was not a problem for our 23 ft TT! I highly recommend this Boondockers welcome stop.
These hosts are the friendliest, most accommodating that I've encountered during my travels! They were flexible when I arrived a day earlier than expected, and then they let me stay an additional night. I appreciated the electricity, water, and home-grown grapefruit so much!
We missed the hosts as they were travelling themselves. Their son was great and helped us settle in. Lots of room and handy levelling blocks gave us a great nights sleep. Hopefully we can meet up with the hosts in the future.
This was a nice 2-day stop and I was glad there was a 220 volt outlet to charge my electric car. I didn't get to meet the host but her son was here to greet me and help get set up. I definitely recommend other boondockers that are traveling through this area to stay here.
We are so happy to have met our TexBon hosts. They welcomed us and helped us get set up. We had a wonderful visit and exchanged lots of funny stories and life experiences. Very friendly upbeat couple.
I was welcomed with open arms and assisted in levelling my Roadtrek RV on their driveway which had quite a decline. Invited into their home on several occasions and even to use their shower before heading out. These folks are so friendly and kind I felt like family.
We really enjoyed our visit with Bonnie and Rick. They were the perfect hosts - helping us get set up and sharing their lives with us for a little while. Hope to see them again.
Bpnnie and Rick were absolutely great hosts! Very spacious parking, helped us get nice and level. Easy approach and parking, had 50 amp service and some great water. Warm cinnamon rolls the next morning, lots of tips and experience about the RV life. Would definitely stop by there again.

My husband and I with our 2 children had the absolute pleasure of Staying with Bonnie and Rick. We couldn’t have felt more at home if we tried. They were kind, warm and inviting. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful spot x
