My name is Al and my wife is Laura. We live and travel with two wonderful Portuguese Water dogs, Lily & Breeze. We are avid about being in the outdoors and enjoy beaches, woods and mountains, hiking and kayaking when we can. Always campers, we transitioned from various tents to a pop-up and now to our 5th wheel. (2011 Cruiser 305es PatriotSKP, 2011 F250 6.7 diesel).
We have traveled about 23000 miles the past four seasons. In 2014 we travelled cross country from RI to the west coast and back and visited 10 Nat Parks and 26 states. We have many interests, primarily enjoying nature, learning about history, cooking and new food discovery, and meeting new people. We are enthusiastic and enjoy new experiences.
We both have a professional background in Management and Administration. Al is experienced in all aspects of DIY home remodeling and has extensive knowledge of RV maintenance. Laura is skilled in grant writing and organization and enjoys antique glass jewelry and mosaic making. We have kayaked and hiked extensively including Alaska, Nova Scotia, and various lakes, rivers and shorelines in NE. We keep a summer garden and are educated "foodies"
Our favorites are National Forests but there aren't many on the east coast. Otherwise we stay any where safe and typically that includes the well known chain stores and travel centers that welcome RVers.

These two are two of the kindest individuals we have met thus far. They were our first boondocking experience and it couldn't have gotten any better. They were inviting and enthusiastic about showing us what Rhode Island had to offer its visitors. We shared in a few adventures, a few meals, and had a lot of laughs. I am thankful we can now call Laura and Al (and Breezy and Lily) our friends! Looking forward to spending more time together when "y'all" visit the south!
