Unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time with kenskeeper but they were very pleasant and courteous guest and are always welcomed at Big Daddy's. Jason
It was fun to host the Kenskeepers. It was nice to meet, and we had a good time visiting. They were friendly, polite and interesting to talk with. Hope to run into you again at some point.
These people are a joy to have around. Great conversation with them and they are very respectful of other's property. We highly recommend hosting them if you get the chance.
Ken and Cathy stayed with us on September 4th. What a quiet, knowledgeable and interesting couple they are. We took a walk around some of the town and they met some of the town-folk. After dinner, we played cards and overall we just had a great time. Please do stop in anytime you happen to be this way.
Very nice couple.....had an excellent evening sharing our place with this couple......enjoyed their conversations with us.
Would be very happy to see them visit once again when they are in this area.
Kenskeeper has a lovely 1 acre home and yard in a quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of space for my pooch and I, although bigger than 25ft, will have trouble. The host was kind and met us when we arrived, helped me back in, and enjoyed some conversation both that evening and before I left in the morning. Being from NY, my biggest takeaway was the sounds of birds that woke us up in the morning without the ambulance sirens.
Great neighborhood, quiet and peaceful with some awesome wildlife to watch out your window while you stay warm indoors. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Lovely hosts who even helped me level out my rig.
This was only our second Boondockers stay since joining. We arrived, parked then we joined the hosts on a social distanced afternoon walk in their neighborhood. Our hosts showed us a really old tree right in their neighborhood. Their yard is spaceous & has a small pond with a waterfall. Thank you Kenskeeper for a great stay!
The home, property, and hosts are very amenible. Thank you so much guys. The stop was much needed. Best wishes!
Lovely neighborhood listened to owls hooting, wonderful greeting, very welcoming.
This place was really beautiful. The hosts met me and helped guide me to my spot (social distanced of course). They had to run an errand, but went above and beyond to make sure I was ok and hooked up. Super friendly and I highly recommend visiting! Thank you.
We felt like we were with old friends. Enjoyed the great scenic view, wildlife and interesting conversation.
Cool mornings and evenings made it a pleasant change from our earlier stay out west.
This is a beautiful spot with the nicest hosts you could hope for. I hope you get to see a deer while you're there, like I did.
Found the place just fine and Ken helped me get parked and hooked to the electric at a safe distance of course. I talked to Cathy for a short time from a distance again and it's too bad we weren't able to visit more. The next morning I packed up and talked with Ken again before I left. He was gracious enough to have an extra face mask since I hadn't been able to find any for two months. So thanks for everything and especially being open for Boondockers who need a place to stay overnight! I know they are great hosts from the short time we were able to talk.
Take care you guys,
Russ
What a sweet little spot.. bird feeders right outside my door with all kinds of beautiful colorful birds to entertain me. Was especially nice since I stayed during lockdown so not much socializing could be done. But the hosts were very pleasant and got me settled and hooked up.. from a distance. There’s lots of pretty yard to walk around. I very much enjoyed my stay just disappointing to not interact more. Was also very appreciative of having a safe place to stay during this pandemic while I traveled up north to be with family.
Cathy and Ken are a very good host they invited me to their Christmas reunions with their friend and Ken helped me with my VR problem.
It was a real pleasure to meet both of them and their friends. and I hope to be able to see them again maybe this summer at my place.
Our stay was perfect. Ken was very friendly and helpful. He even took some time to play with our kid in his huge backyard and helped us with our motorhome.
A wonderful host!
After reading their previous reviews, I knew my stay was going to be fun. My hosts have been so many places and I was able to add many to my list of future stops, especially the quirky unusual ones which I always enjoy. As a somewhat newbie RVer, I learned some great tips and they also introduced me to some RV apps which I had not explored. Both of them are avid fisherman. as am I, so we swapped some good fishing tales. Looking out my window there were lots of beautiful little birds eating happily from their feeding posts. I truly enjoyed my stay and they were fantastic hosts.
Enjoyed our stay in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Kenskeeper is a great host, thoroughly enjoyed visit with them. Very helpful, also!
We woke to birds at the bird feeders and gurgling water in the fountain that was part of the garden. Spectacular spot! Thank you for the peaceful respite!
Had a Wonderful stay. We enjoyed being there we stayed another day. It was so interesting talking and listening to Cathy and Ken. They made us feel right at home. Can't wait to see them again. So sorry we missed saying goodbye. Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your place.
This was our first boondockers experience and we could not have ask for better hosts. Ken and Cathy were .super friendly, kind and very accommodating and their property was very beautiful and relaxing.
We spent two nights in Harrisburg with these wonderful people. We enjoyed sharing travel stories, RV tips, and some ice cream. They have a beautiful location that is easily accessible. We took a short trip over to Hershey's Chocolate World. We spent July 1st at Gettysburg. Be forewarned--you need to plan a long day at Gettysburg to take it all in. Thanks so much for sharing your peaceful sanctuary with us.
Thank you so much for a great stay. Had a great evening chatting and learnt so much. Will hopefully get to go some places you mentioned....um....so you may see us back in the area soon.
Very nice welcome! you are good times with them. it is always a pleasure to meet new people so interesting and open-minded.

This was our first experience with Boondockers and we couldn't be more pleased. Ken and Kathy were great hosts and we feel we gained new friends and hope our paths will cross again. Location is in a nice, quiet neighborhood within a 1/2 mile walk to the local supermarket and a local restaurant.
A toast to Ken & Kathy whose hospitality was gracious and quite gourmet. From the Finger Lakes Pinot Noir - who knew they made it so well? To the Vermont cheddar and yummy herb crackers, the snackage was only matched by good conversation and travel stories. In summary: salt of the earth folks you only hope you'll meet when on your Boondocking adventures. Can't thank them enough! Oh, yes, and their driveway was real nice, too!
I arrived later than I had anticipated. Ken was the one to greet me, and he gladly made a camp fire. The next evening I met Cathy and we had a wonderful discussion. Wonderful Hosts! Enjoyed this stay!
We spent a delightful evening with Ken, Cathy and the neighbors last spring on our way down to New Orleans Jazz Fest. We hope to visit this spring as we once again trek southward from the melting snowbanks of Maine
We enjoyed meeting Ken and Cathy. We were able to provide some timely suggestions as they are planning a trip to Alaska this summer. Great bird watching from their boondocking spot too!
We stayed the evening of March 24th. This was our second visit with Kenskeeper and though this time there was snow on the ground, it was as pleasant and enjoyable as our first. We had a great conversation with our hosts that evening and had a quiet and peaceful sleep in our Roadtrek 190P. Thank you again.
Super nice people! We had a great experience staying here. A beautiful yard, fish, swing and easy conversation!
Easy to find (even in the downpour), offered 15A elec hook-up, water fill, and friendly hospitality.
Kenskeeper were our first Boondockerswelcome hosts. We were recieved like family and had time for a nice nightcap visit. We shared fishing stories and hope to have them on a return visit to our Ontario Canada cottage to dip a line or two. Power was provided and the beautiful property easily accommodated our 17.5' Hybrid trailer and SUV on the asphalt driveway. A great introduction to the Boondocking community.
Kenskeeper have a beautiful private oasis that they happily share. The space they provide is very considerate of the campers needs, they were kind enough to provide power, and to share the backyard amenities. Great hosts!
we arrived at kenskeeper after several hours of site seeing in different areas of PA. We were welcomed warmly the couple. their home and property would be a keeper in my books. they guided us in to our spot and we hooked up. we spent a pleasant few hours talking about everything. we stayed ther for 2 nights also,{of COURSE!!!!!!! We Went To HERSEY!!!!{
We stayed with Kenskeeper July 1, 2016. Was our first experience with boondockers welcome and we could not have asked for a better experience! Great conversation, beautiful and serene yard! Our daughter helped feed their goldfish and enjoyed the tire swing! Hope they look us up when traveling west!
We stayed in March 2016 for one night in a 19' Roadtrek. We parked on a level spot and were able to plug in. Ken and Cathy were very hospitable and friendly. We hope that we can reciprocate the visit when they get to New England. Thank you.
Terrific people in a comfortable suburban neighborhood. We plugged in (much appreciated) and enjoyed a quiet night, perfect for us. Spent a few hours with them on our rig sharing wine and stories. We hope they will come and see us in Canada and look forward to seeing them again.

Ken and Cathy made us feel right at home. We enjoyed interesting conversation and they even fed us dinner.
It was easy to find their place and spent a peaceful night.

Although we did not really have a chance to spend a lot of time with Ken and Cathy, we were thrilled by their welcome and availability. Ken was really helpful in showing us how to handle our camper (it was our first trip with an RV and we needed advice). He even gave us a small Bible.
The location was beautiful, the owners have a lovely garden with flowers, a fish pond and old trees. The street was really quiet and the neighbors nice. Plus all the trees were in bloom.
Harrisburg stroke us as being quiet, very clean and lovely. It is very close to Hershey, America's chocolate town.
I had a short but comfortable stay in the driveway of Ken and Cathy's Harrisburg home. They were most welcoming and offered wine, food, and good travel advice. I highly recommend this spot and these hosts. Thank you Ken and Cathy.
I called looking for a place in or near Harrisburg and I was so excited when I got Ken's reply. Was delayed in 'football' traffic on the I-81 but got there just as it was getting dark. Met his wife Cathy who promptly invited me to join them and friends for sushi. I had already eaten but it sounded great. I declined and got myself setup for the night. Beautiful yard and surroundings, conducive to a good night's sleep. Wakened to birds singing and squirrels chirping. Cathy feeds them all so they flock to the yard. Ken and Cathy fish in Canada yearly so we were able to compare some spots...great hosts and lovely surroundings close to amenities. Stocked up and stayed an extra night...great place fo a weary traveller....

I was their first guest. We had had a wonderful time. If you like fishing don't miss them. Thanks to Ken and Cathy
