We have been RVing for about 10 years now. I'm a school teacher, so we travel mostly during the summer. We've had travel trailers and now a Class A. One of the treasures from our travels has been the people we have met along the way. As hosts, we are happy to give you privacy if you would like, but are also happy to chat, share stories of travel and get to know you.
Visit our YouTube channel @ Rolling Ragu to learn more about us and our travels.
We've made many cross country trips and have visited roughly 60-70 National Parks. We have also camped in our local area for a long time. We would enjoy sharing any knowledge we have gained that may help you.
We are fairly handy and do all of our own repairs and maintenance. I'm no expert, but am willing to offer opinions, basic tools and a hand with repair if asked.
We have had pets in the past, that have traveled with us, but do not presently. We welcome well behaved pets (prefer only 1, but would consider 2). Next to the camp site, our neighbor has chickens, pigs and horses!
We have boondocked on public lands locations. Our favorite so far was at Valley of the Gods in southern Utah!

I see that you put <30' and we are 34'. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask? Our coach is a well taken care of Tiffin Allegro 34TGA.
We enjoyed hosting the RollingRagu family, it is refreshing to meet such kind, considerate people!
The RollingRagu family were super friendly & considerate; would loved to have had more time to visit but glad for the chance to meet & greet.
RollingRagu are a sweet sweet family with huge hearts and a beautiful property that they are more than willing to share. We requested a stay the day before, they responded quickly, invited us over, gave us choice of where to park (we chose the top of the driveway with great views), and we all chatted together until well past sundown. My only wish is that we had more time together. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful and kind family they are. Hope to cross paths with them again! <3 Thank you RollingRagu
My stay with RollingRagu confirmed that people are good and have a great heart. This family provided us with a safe place to park for a few nights. as we made our way back to our home base in NC. Social distancing prevented the type of interaction this family typically has with their guests. However, we made the most of it and they provided us with a wealth of information about the local area. We are hoping to return in the future to take advantage of the natural beauty of this area and the charming town or Traveler's Rest. A name well suited for this great Boondocking location. Thanks again and safe travels!
Even though it rained heavily during the night we stayed, our host did not hesitate to come out so that we could plug our rig. The house and the neighborhood are wonderful, with mountains, horses and no noise at night.
Great location close to the mountains. Host and family were very kind and I enjoyed talking with them about their RV'ing adventures.
Rolling Ragu went over and above to make sure that all our needs were met and beyond. Had a great time visiting and definitely feel like we made new friends on this visit and swapping stories was amazing. Their passion for RVing is contagious!!
We will DEFINITELY return, most likely in October for another visit.
We had a very pleasant stay with our new hosts. We are their first boondockers and of course their first positive review! They made us feel very welcome and we had a evening with the whole family around the table that was heart warming. There site for us to park was beautiful with a wonderful view and a beautiful morning sunrise. Boondocker do have to make a three point turn at the top of the drive which we were able to make with our two wheel drive truck and 30’ trailer but it is tight so I would advise larger rigs or those with limited experience check with the host first.
