Host was extremely friendly and hospitable! The scenery is gorgeous and definitely would stay again.
What an awesome setting to enjoy a quite warm sunset and misty cool Mornin sunrise. Horses fenced on either side of the well leveled pasture we set up camp on. Was able to briefly get acquainted with Ron and his family. Delightful and an absolutely precious gracious family! One of our highlights was the opportunity to try some of their “Trash Nuts”! A healthy, tantalizing smoke flavored almond that leaves you begging for more. My mouth waters remembering them!
PLEASE, PLEASE read and re-read the notes on accessing their property....it’s EASY IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS....however, if you venture off it, as I did, and let Siri direct you (if you’re coming from the south as we did), she will have you turning into a ranchers pasture back in the hills! LOL, so glad the rancher said, “That away son!” A wee bit of a delay, however, I wish I had followed those directions better to say the least. ENJOY and we’ll be returning often!!!
It was a pleasure to meet Boonwalker, who went out of his way to accommodate me. The town of Paradise was beautiful this October and uniquely secluded. As mentioned on the host page, the only real way to approach is from the north through Hyrum. I took the road south to leave, and it was a horrible road, although I did make it with my trailer intact. The mountain range to the east is good for hiking and biking.
Our host was very accommodating. Since we didn't need any electricity, he let us park in his back lot any direction we wanted, so we could orient our windows to have a great view of the mountains. It was a great base for exploring some of the beautiful fall colors in the area.
Would definitely recommend this site. Super friendly people with 15amp hookups and water if needed. Was a cute little spot with good privacy but also great access right off the road :)
Boonwalker was very helpful in helping us get set up for the night. When we arrived we realized that we were having transmission problems and he was very kind and understanding. Thanks again for letting us stay at your house!
Our host was gracious and friendly. He helped us park our trailer. We had a nice Mountain View in a quiet area. We enjoyed visiting with the children. Great stay We’d definitely come back.
We had a good nights rest in a quiet neighborhood. We parked in the driveway spot and did have to use a little bit of leveling blocks. Unfortunately we did not get to meet our host as they were out of town. But they were very responsive in answering all our questions and texts. Thank you for allowing us to stay on our journey.
Great host. Beautiful views. Easy access to parking spot. Quite peaceful nights rest.
