Over 40 years of camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, backpacking. Most of it "dispersed camping" at various public land remote locations. Our progression: on the ground in the open air, a tent, bed of a 4x4 truck, a 4x4 & cabover camper w young kids, a 4x4 & tents w teenagers, now motorhome & jeep or tent & jeep.

We had a great stay. Very welcoming and friendly host. A safe, gated community. We were able to unhook im the street, in front of the house. We didn't get much conversation in with the host, but the small amount we had was pleasant. Don't hesitate to stay here!
Due to the inclement weather on arrival I unfortunately didn’t have much opportunity to spend time chatting with my hosts but they were very friendly & welcoming, offering me electric hookup etc. The parking spot in front of their home is on a level, very wide street in a beautiful neighborhood and my dog enjoyed our walks over to the the small park, about a block away. A very nice, quiet and safe spot for the night - thank you!
Our hosts immediately came out to welcome us! We had a great conversation and they gave us some good advice on getting a solar setup. They also referred us to a close beach and a delicious pizza place. It's street parking, but it was very nice and quiet and we felt completely safe. We are grateful for such a great first experience with BW!
It was our very first experience with boondockers and our first night in the US. We didn't know what to expect and it surely was better than we could have ever imagined! You showed us how welcoming and kind people can be to complete strangers. Thank you for making the beginning of our trip so remarkable, we are really grateful :)
Wishing you the best,
