Over 40 years of camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, backpacking. Most of it "dispersed camping" at various public land remote locations. Our progression: on the ground in the open air, a tent, bed of a 4x4 truck, a 4x4 & cabover camper w young kids, a 4x4 & tents w teenagers, now motorhome & jeep or tent & jeep.

We had a lovely evening staying with these hosts. Parking was super easy for our 26' TC on the street in front of their home. They offered for us to plug in. We ended up chatting for a couple hours! About trips and life. They could not have been kinder & we had a peaceful sleep. Hope to be back or host them on PEI!
With great thanks,

John and Debbie were lovely hosts. We felt so welcome and at home at their place. The estate is very neat and has plenty of space. We chatted quite a bit to John and have nothing but positive feelings about our stay with them. John gave us advice and assisted us with our RV (it was our first day with her). Thank you for everything! God bless you.
I arrived in the evening and Flyingcactus warmly greeted me and provided electricity for the night. Thank you for hosting!
Flyingcactus welcomed us very warmly, on our arrival he immediately went out on the street to guide us and offered us water and electricity! We had a very interesting exchange. We had a great night in a calm and safe environment. Thank you very much, Rachelle & Yves.
Thanks to flyingcactus for the nice stay. It was our first experience. It was great.
We are an Australian couple who arrived in LAX. After picking up our RV we stayed with John and Debbie. What welcoming hosts they are. My stress levels were high after the previous couple of days, as we fitted into our new surroundings here in the USA. John and Debbie did wonders for my stress levels. This was very much appreciated.
Cheers John and Judy
We had a great stay. The neighborhood was beautiful, safe, and a nice place to walk our dog in the evenings. The hosts were a delight to chat with. Thanks again for the hospitality!
Staying with flyingcactus was our first experience with Boondockers. We had a lovely couple of nights in a great neighbourhood. Nice to be away from the central city and flyingcactus was able to help us out with tools for some minor maintenance on our RV. You are welcome to visit us in New Zealand if ever over here.
We had a great stay. Very welcoming and friendly host. A safe, gated community. We were able to unhook im the street, in front of the house. We didn't get much conversation in with the host, but the small amount we had was pleasant. Don't hesitate to stay here!
Due to the inclement weather on arrival I unfortunately didn’t have much opportunity to spend time chatting with my hosts but they were very friendly & welcoming, offering me electric hookup etc. The parking spot in front of their home is on a level, very wide street in a beautiful neighborhood and my dog enjoyed our walks over to the the small park, about a block away. A very nice, quiet and safe spot for the night - thank you!
Our hosts immediately came out to welcome us! We had a great conversation and they gave us some good advice on getting a solar setup. They also referred us to a close beach and a delicious pizza place. It's street parking, but it was very nice and quiet and we felt completely safe. We are grateful for such a great first experience with BW!
It was our very first experience with boondockers and our first night in the US. We didn't know what to expect and it surely was better than we could have ever imagined! You showed us how welcoming and kind people can be to complete strangers. Thank you for making the beginning of our trip so remarkable, we are really grateful :)
Wishing you the best,
