Just got my first RV - 2007 Bigfoot E450 Ford Diesel 30MH29RQ, first time driving anything that big, brought it from Richmond IN to Newark OH facing heavy crosswinds and having to back it up a hill, in the dark, from a two lane country road with my brother to direct me. Initiation by fire, more or less. I want to reduce my belongings to enough to live full time in my unit that I have named Windhorse Zephyr. (It'll take awhile --understatement.) I haven't had her out on her maiden camping expedition yet, but did get her maintenanced and dewinterized. It's just been too hot and I'm out of vacation time. I want to be able to live almost entirely, if not completely, off the grid. I have 4 lovely cats that may or may not want this adventure to begin, but we have time for that. That doesn't tell you much about me, does it? Just the rig, and that I think I'm either pretty brave or pretty stupid to have done this. Only time will tell. There are plenty out there that have made a go of it, so I don't see any reason why I shouldn't.
I can be very logical, not afraid to learn things, good critical thinker, and excellent at spacial relations.
Haven't been there yet.
2007 Bigfoot E450 Ford Diesel 30MH29RQ No slide outs (that may save on wear and tear, but I do miss the room it would give). Just getting started getting the inside set up. But she's a 4 season coach (and I'm counting on that).
