Love the two summers we spent out west.

Richard and Linda stayed 3 nights with us and we hardly knew they were there. They were exceptionally quiet and polite guests. We spent some time with them the evening before they left, and found them interesting and entertaining. Very highly recommended guests. We hope to see them again, someday.
"Dark Corner" was perfect and a wonderful place for us to stay while we closed on a property in Travelers Rest. We arrived just before a 3‐day rain storm hit; when it was time to leave on the second day our hosts suggested we stay one more day and wait for the storm to end. We are very thankful for their hospitality.
So deeply sorrow for your loss.
Thank you so much for hospitality.
Enjoyed stay! Welcome at our place!
We had a cozy night at Dark Corner despite the rain. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. Thanks so much!
We stayed at "Dark Corner" for 2 days and really enjoyed our stay. Host met us outside to help us park. It was HOT so we were really glad we could hook up for AC. We have children and the host offered to show us the goats and watch her feed the chickens. They also have horses. All the animals are so sweet and let us pet them. We recommend this BW spot!
Great experience! Location was easy to find and parking was also easy (appreciated the ability to pull through). Kids enjoyed seeing the horses. Host was helpful when we had a flat tire (and as new RVers this was a first for us). THANKS SO MUCH!! :)
We stayed in Dark Corner to visit with friends in Greer. The area is beautiful. Linda gave lots of helpful hints for traveling and experiencing the area. She showed us around the farm. I (Pam) grew up in the suburbs of Mass. not around farm animals or horses, so it was especially fun for me to see the miniature horses, goats and chickens. My favorite was Saturday morning when the tractors and equipment arrived to work on the property - a bustle of activity to watch from my RV window. We would definitely love to visit again.
We stayed for 2 nights. Kids loved to pet the mini horses. We enjoyed helping hold up 2 walls of a chicken house while they put it together. The nights were very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed learning SASS also. They whole stay was very nice.
Lovely country setting. Gracious hosts. 1/2 hour into downtown Greenville. You can meet poodles, horses, and all manner of critters in this lovely setting/country farm. We'll be back.
This was only our second time as Boondockers but if everyone is as friendly as Richard & Linda we look forward to our next adventure!
Great host and really great with the Grandchildren. They showed my 2 year old the animals and let them pet them. I was able to do a 50amp hook up so all was great. Highly recommend these host.
A lovely stay at this working horse farm. Excellent facilities set up for boon dockers and excellent hosts Richard and Linda that really made us feel at home. Sorry we could only spend one night with you. Would have been nice to stay longer and chatted some more. Phil and Jo
Had delay our departure because of bad weather. Host has been very understanding and helpful with some mechanical problems that popped up on our RV.
Site is a working farm with lots of animals and equipment.
Really liked the place and area. Linda and Richard are very nice people! They told us where and what to visit with our motorcycle...like the poinsett bridge which is 200 yrs old!! Thank you very much again !! :) we really appreciate it.

Nice quiet area on a small farm with goats, chickens, dogs and horses. Very friendly host. Had some short chats as they were on their way out. Left day early due to the huge storm coming their way. Thank you for your hospitality. Virginia and Bob
Let me tell you. What awesome hosts to put up with us with so many questions, EMAILSSSSS, and coming and going from their property. Nice get away even thou we were in Asheville most of the time or the camper because of the rain. Our hostess even came out in the morning when it was cold and rainy and gave us some freshed layed eggs. So wish I cld of walked around her homestead but I definitely will be back if they let us. Dark Corner thank you again and your welcome to come to our boondocking place Blue Lagoon Acres anytime you can. Happy Holidays. 🎁🎄
Richard & Linda have a small horse farm (the horses are small as is the farm). They are improving their property for their use as well as RV guests.
We were not able to meet our hosts as they were traveling, but thank them for sharing their site while away. We hope we can return to make their acquaintance, and renew our friendship with their beautiful horses.
If we are able to return, we will be pleased to offer a hand in the many projects they have in the works.
We really enjoyed our stay at Linda and Richard’s ranch! They had very helpful ranch hands that helped us get set up and comfortable and Linda was so sweet! She brought us some fresh eggs from her chicken in the morning and she let us hold her little 2 wk old puppy while she tended the goats. My daughter loves animals so I think that was her favorite part, well, besides petting all the mini horses! Thank you for being so welcoming and sharing your space with us! We really appreciate it!
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The site was fairly level and private and I would be happy to stay there again.
We enjoyed our time here. We watched the horses in the field. It’s close to the historic covered bridge. Lots to see on the country roads to. The spot is up a little hill, or mound, but it was alright to back up and get leveled.
Richard and Linda are both lovely people with a beautiful property parked up on the hill. We were able to spend a few days getting to know them and listening to their stories.
We were able to help them out with a few projects and they were wonderful to our children. I learnt a few things about horses and life on the land.
Was a fantastic stay! Thanks so much.
Lynda and Richard’s spot in South Carolina was perfect for us. A quiet place to overnight on our way to Alabama.
Though no one was there at the time we were warmly greeted by the ponies.
Easy to find with GPS and Lynda’s great directions.
This was our first Boondocker experience. We are so grateful that people are willing to do this.
Thank you so much Lynda and Richard!

This was my first time using the website & am I glad I picked Richard & Linda's place! I needed some relaxation and they responded quickly to my request. They also suggested I come on a specific weekend - as their property is near the airport & I would be able to see the Annual International Air Show! I was mesmerized at the airplanes and felt like I was the luckiest gal in town! The property was easily accessible off the interstate - but arrive before dark...it's a quiet road without lamps! I parked right next to the lake and had coffee while watching the birds enjoy the water! I will definitely ask to return!
Although we did not see our hosts, we parked along the pond with a beautiful view. We saw horses from a distance and heard roosters and goats. It was very peaceful except for the occasional plane overhead. Many thanks to Richard & Linda!
We stayed 2 nights at Richard and Linda's horse farm. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot but is an easy drive to town (grocery and Walmart) and super convenient to 75. Our daughter loved watching the ponies. Richard and Linda are warm, gracious hosts and I'd absolutely stay there again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!
We had a blast staying on Linda and Richard's lot. Near the water, lot of horses, goats, poneys, the kids and ourselves loved it. Linda was generous and let us stay a few days wich was more than welcome because we were waiting for mail and packages that were delayed. Thank you Linda!
Richard and Linda are wonderful hosts: easy to talk to, generous with their space at the farm and very interesting new friends.
The horses on the farm will entertain you. It's also close enough to town to enjoy, but far enough away to appreciate the peace. The unpaved road leading to the property is firm and very well maintained, we had no problem with our long, heavy motorhome and car. Same thing onsite. We parked along the lake on very hard packed ground and had no problems.
Easy to recommend and we would definitely go back if we are anywhere close.
Nice, on horse farm. We did not meet Linda personally, but her email responses were quick and to the point. We set up near the pond, but you can choose your own spot anywhere.

We did not have a chance to meet Linda, however we met her "host" campers at the site who were very helpful getting us oriented and settled for a quick overnight. Linda was very responsive on contact and we very much appreciated the overnight stay. Would recommend a stay here.
My wife and I spent two nights here, but did not meet our gracious hosts until we were leaving on the last day. The site was level and with the horses grazing around our RV, we found the setting very relaxing. We were invited to return so we could talk more, so we came back a few days later and enjoyed the conversations with our hosts. Very nice and caring couple!!

Richard-Linda are good host. It's a nice place and we enjoyed observing the miniatures horses. Linda gave us the best place to visite in Pinta Gorda.
Highly recommend Richard-Linda
We recently stayed with Richard and Linda and it was an awesome experience. Thier location overlooks a beautiful pond with great wildlife. Just a short distance from booming Punta Gorda, FL, but it has a private, secluded feel to it. Beth and I spent our days exploring the town and our nights watching the lights from the aircrafts that fly into the near by airport. Our dog Emily became fast friends with GRITS, Richard and Linda's poodle puppy that has energy like the energizer bunny. It was a fun, relaxing experience and we can't wait to see them again!
I spent two night here and instantly felt right at home. I've spent some time with rescue horses lately, who all have some emotional issues. So it was wonderful to hang out with this friendly herd. I hope to make this a regular stop on my gulf trips. Thanks !
This is a very peaceful little lake to have as a front yard for a night. Hosts were gracious and interesting to talk to. Miniature horses were fun to watch. Since we had an appointment the next day it was nice to be able to pull in and set up without unhooking the towed vehicle, and then swing around and pull out again. We hope to stay here again when we have more time.
We had a really good time on Linda and Richard's ranch. The place is lovely and quiet. We had all what we needed and our hosts were really welcoming and generous. They offered us to stay as long as we needed too.
Even if they don't live there, the communication is easy with them by phone, SMS or email.
Linda's direction to her little paradise are great and Google Maps will also lead you to their piece of land.
Linda was helpful in getting us directly to their horse ranch... Weather was less then desirable but they were still able to accommodate us. Thanks so much!!!
A lovely couple to visit with and the horses, ducks on the lake and their dog GRITS were a bonus.
They would be most welcome to stay at our property in Australia if they ever venture that far.
We would highly recommend them as hosts.
Linda and Richard are warm and friendly hosts. We enjoyed meeting their ponies and miniature horses. Parking next to their little lake is just lovely. The spot is quiet with the sounds of the neighbours' cows and rooster adding even more of a rural touch. The land is close to the airport, but there aren't too many flights. A few loud planes in the afternoon, and then nothing.
We enjoyed watching ducks, Sandhill cranes, and many other birds. We walked the dirt roads in the area; there is not too much traffic, very nice.
We ran our generator feeling confident we weren't disturbing anyone. Even with the rural setting, we were only 2 miles or less from Winn-Dixie. Handy location. Hope to return.
Just spent the night with Linda and Richard. Parked next to the lake, saw Sandhill cranes, their miniature horses, watched the big gold moon rise over the lake with its reflection on the water and the sun rise doing the same this morning. They were great host and we loved sharing a day of their lives.
