My wife Janie and myself ( Brian ) live in the Fraser Valley east of Vancouver BC. We have a small farm where we spent our summers with chickens and garden. We are both retired and have been for the last 20years. Our photo is of us 48 years ago on Granville Street in Vancouver. We are snowbirds that spend our winters in the Kountry Star we purchased this year. We are mostly in southern California and Arizona. We like our wine Janie red and me white. We enjoy happy hour with our winter friends.

Fantastic couple and spot

Fairweather Farm were incredible hosts. They welcomed us to park our trailer at their place over a long holiday weekend while we visited family in Vancouver and they were on vacation elsewhere. He even drove out to meet us on the main road to make sure we didn't have trouble finding the place! We had plenty of space to park our rig in the field beside their house, and they even let us store our kayak in their garage. The view from their farm is lovely and on a quiet road by the water. His wife quickly became best friends with our dog Forrest, throwing a ball for him, feeding him treats and teaching him a thing or two. We got tons of advice and shared great stories in just the few hours that we visited with them, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We would certainly stay with them again if we come back to BC, and we hope they'll come see us in Georgia some day!

Quiet location and great people

We had a very good time staying at Fairweather farm. The place is very quiet and our hosts are great people. I would love seeing them stoping at our place in the future.

Pastoral and serene

Our host gave great directions and was standing in the road in front of his farm to make sure we got the right place. This couple is a hoot. Really enjoyed our time with them. They, like so many other Canadians, have nice in their DNA. I look forward to hosting them next spring.

Nice quite location

I stayed at this location for one night. Is is a little out of the way but is very quiet, the hosts are great travelers and easy to get along with. The man of the house came and meet me and took me to there location. That was very helpful. The lady looks after the chickens and many other things I am sure. Thank you for your hospitality. Brian

Great people! Great place!

This is our first Boondocking experience after joining about a month ago. From our experience so far this is a wonderful way to travel in an RV. It was a great first night of our trip to Newfoundland. We were warmly greeted by Janie and Brian and made to feel right at home on their nice big green level yard in a rural area with dairy farms and hay fields all around. We highly recommend Fairweather Farm. Alice and Ed

Beautiful Mountain Views

I met the folks at Fairweather Farms in Palm Desert and liked them so much, I drove all the way to BC to see their farm. They are a warm-hearted, fun, and lively couple with great stories to tell. They have a lovely little spot in the Fraser River Valley on Nicomen Island between the little towns of Deroche and Dewdney. The farm is walking distance from the Dewdney Pub, which has live blues music on the weekend. Also nearby are several places to kayak; if you want to rent kayaks or canoes, there are places for that, too. Also close by are horseback riding places. They can also direct you to all sorts of hikes and other activities because they know the area so well. The island is a good place to bicycle too. The farm itself is beautiful with green trees and mountains on every side as you look out your RV. If you want to go to Vancouver, there is a commuter train in Mission, which is very close. Also, you can buy farm fresh eggs right outside your door! Once you get here, you may not want to leave. I didn't!
