We are a retired married couple, looking to travel again now that our three daughters have just flown the coop. We previously lived full-time in our tiny RV when our kids were little--for one year we traveled all over the USA (47 states) and Mexico (down to Chiapas/Yucatan areas). It was the most memorable, if not the best, year of our lives. We would like to go full-timing again soon, perhaps even further into Central America this time.
We are both retired from the legal profession. Logan is very handy and can fix just about anything. Kelly is an animal-lover and has worked in wildlife rescue, as well as an animal-shelter volunteer.
We have one medium-sized rescue dog, Murphy Brown, who is a bit of a spaz.
Ten years ago we full-time RV'd in a tiny travel-trailer with our three daughters and giant dog. On our travels throughout the US we probably stayed in Walmart parking lots in nearly every state of the USA!
Angel Fire, New Mexico - a little ski town way up high (8,500') in the Southern Rocky Mountains of Northern New Mexico.
Such a quiet little retreat with a beautiful landscape. We didn't see the owners until the second day. Which was fine for us. The lot was level and such a tranquil getaway.
Nice shady driveway spot in a quiet neighborhood. Deer and rabbits. Golf club and trail hike nearby. Gracious host.
We arrived exhausted and the peace and quiet here were wonderful. The pull-through driveway worked well. We did not meet our hosts who had advised they would be out and home late, and we left early next day. Also, our plans for the second night changed. However, their emails to us were very friendly and welcoming.
