My wife and I along with our three I kiddos love meeting new people. Always looking to help others out and hear about their stories.
We have a small farm, had several horses, goats, pigs, chickens and even a cow. But with being busy got rid of everything so we could be more free to travel .
Columbus Indiana
2001 Coachman Miranda, currently do not have a toad attached but may in the future. I will inform you of this at the time i am seeking permission to stay.
They needed a base to do some work in the area. Happy to have them
They are welcome back to our Oaks'nPalms yard anytime .
Friendly folks with three well-mannered boys. We truly enjoyed our short time with them. We hope they visit again and we hope to visit their boondocker site someday. Safe travels!
Just stopped here for a rest break. Hope they come back and stay longer. Good guests welcome back at any time.
Great people!! Very accommodating to her needs . Upon arrival we were met as soon as we pulled in with instructions on where to park many options to choose from of where to park the rig made it very easy for us to get in and get out. If you are ever in the area you need to stop by and visit them you’ll enjoy your stay. Thanks for all your hospitality!
My wife, 3 yr old, and dog had an amazing time here. They were very welcoming and very fun to hang out with. Amazing property with lots to do. They were very accommodating and welcoming. Lots of amazing conversations and stories. Loved our stay here!
Troy could not have been more accommodating. Got to his house and the night before they got 4 inches of snow, so he helped us get in another part of his driveway by cutting down some tree limbs and shoveling snow. He helped us with our tow dolly and ran power out to us. Highly recommend Staggs Farm Troy is a great guy.
The hosts were very personable and helpful. Nice level spot on solid ground. A+ all around.
The location took a little bit to find, but with some help from nice neighbors, we found it fairly easy. They actually had power for us, and let us use their 30 to 50 amp Converter so we could have power while we stayed. There's enough space for two or three rigs to be there at the same time . A little tight to drive in and out, but doable. Our hosts were very friendly and nice.
Devildog was very accommodating to our changing schedule (we arrived after dark accidentally). He and the family were friendly and Let our son play on the various toys/trampoline that they had. Great spot for a family to stop and recharge! Thanks again!
Devildog and his family leave you alone as much as you want to be, but are willing to help if needed in anyway they can. It's a fairly quiet neighborhood and love the mooing of the cows.
We were lucky to be able to stay here with some other rv friends. The hosts are a great family and very hospitable. Felt very welcome whole time. Beautiful location and easy access to Columbus IN. We fit easily with a 36 and 39 foot fifth wheel. We would definitely stay again...highly recommend!!
I showed up after dark after communicating with the host. Took me a few times around the neighborhood to locate the spot exactly where the host told me it was LOL. This is bare-bones real boondocking, middle,of,nowhere, but with a plug-in.. I,opted to not use,the electrical and enjoy the quiet. Felt safe. I was looking to do some stargazing. Unfortunately it was a cloudy night but it would have been the perfect spot for that. I took my dog for a walk around their property in the morning and saw two of his children helping out side. Pleasant experience. Looks lime it would be a quiet getaway.
A very fine fall evening, quiet and restful. The electric power was great in the nearly freezing weather. The host was helpful, and fun.
Thank you so much for a great evening !!

It was a joy visiting our friends for the second time. Enjoyed sitting around the fire eating beef stew and chatting about the goodness of the Lord, and before going to bed was treated with a big bowl of ice cream. Life is good at your place. Blessings until we meet again. This is like home away from home. Couldn't ask for more wonderful hosts. God bless you guys.
Great location in a quiet country area but not far from Columbus and stores and amenities if you need anything. Plenty of place to walk our pups. And if our kids were younger they would have loved the treehouse and clubhouse.
Beautiful setting with privacy behind their barn and overlooking a pond and the Indiana countryside.
Very nice hosts who welcomed us when we arrived and were available if we needed anything. Lovely family.
Overall one of our favorite BWs that we have stayed at in nearly three years of travel
A beautiful property to spend Labor Day Weekend on. Me and the pups loved it.
Host was a very friendly and accommodating. We had a nice stay and appreciate the accommodations! Location was close to Columbus and Brown County and we enjoyed spending a few days at the Staggs farm. Very nice and host wanted all campers to be happy. Thanks!
One thing to be aware of is we were unable to get any data service during our stay. This was fine with us since we wanted to unplug for the weekend. Just something future campers may want to be aware of. Other than that we had a great weekend in southern Indiana.
Very nice stay, and they were very accommodating to our two rigs. Beautiful night under the stars at the fire pit.
Our kids had a blast! Super kid friendly place, very cool tree house, lots of room to run around. Awesome sweet family. Nice to be able to have power and plenty of room for our class C RV plus trailer to turn around. Definitely recommended especially if you're traveling with kids.
We stayed one night at Staggs Farm and my kids already miss it. We were greeted as we pulled in and showed where to park and where to hook up. The site was level and in a secluded place behind the barn.
Our kids spent most of the day exploring the farm, secret hideout, awesome treehouse, trampoline, and a bunch of toys the family shared with us.
As the sun went down, we could hear frogs from the nearby pond, and beautiful sunrise in the morning.
Thank you again for an awesome opportunity!!!
Our kids had a BLAST with this family and so did we! They are so generous.
We had a nice stay at Staggs Farm. Unfortunately we were working most of the time so didn't get to visit too much but the couple is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed out between the pond and the tree line for some nice shade coverage. It's a kids heaven with tree house and ATV riding. Plus every store you could possibly need is a 15 minute drive away!
although we didn't get to meet them in person they were kind enough to let us stay when we needed a few nights to rest from traveling. Would recommend anyone to come enjoy the peaceful property and to see -all the cool hidden tree houses of course! We'll definitely be back someday, the land there was beautiful.
Was welcomed by our very friendly host. Parked in a private and quiet place beside the barn. Was very quiet at night and we had a great nights rest. Thank you for your generous hospitality!
The Staggs Family was very welcoming and greeted us upon arrival. Our daughter played with their boys by the pond and we enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the sunrise each morning. We enjoyed our stay and recommend!
Our boondock experience was fine but not without some issues. Unfortunately our hosts were impacted by a family medical emergency. Thus, they were not home when we arrived to greet us and show us where to connect to the 50 amp service. Usually not a problem with today’s technology- just call or text them. So here’s the warning: if your service provider is Sprint or AT&T there is NO SERVICE in rural Indiana! We eventually got connected to power but we were quite frustrated by our inability to easily communicate. Our host uses Verizon and says he has good connectivity. We finally met our host the next morning as we were leaving- a very gracious and gregarious individual!
Friendly host! Met us upon arrival to aid in entering the property. Watch for low lying branches if approaching property to enter on the field side (E. Mulberry St.). The field approach was too steep for our travel trailer (we would have bottomed out the tongue jack & rear levelers) so we had to turn the corner and circle the block to approach from the barn driveway (Jefferson St.). In the process we clipped a low branch (turning right from the corner of E Mullberry on to N Taylor) and ripped the top of our ladder right out of the roof 🤦♀️. Our host was nice enough to let us borrow a ladder so we could quickly patch up before the rain came in. We weren't there much since we went to go visit family in Cincinnati but was pleasant enough for a couple nights sleep at our halfway point to NH. Very grateful for the generosity of these hosts to provide a place to rest!
Great overnight stay on a very level spot with electric available if needed - which I didn’t. Nice family and very welcoming.
I had a great time staying here. The pond and having an evening fire were the highlight of my visit
I greatly enjoyed meeting these folks.
Had a great time, talking, picking music around the campfire.
I highly recommend.
....Enjoyed the one night we stayed with this wonderful, kind, accommodating, couple. Thanks for the hookup and the food when we arrived. Nice, peaceful place by the pond. Liked how the frogs serenaded us with their music. Blessings to you folks for your kindness.
Hi thank you vary much for the stay at your place. the concert from the frogs was only to 11 Pm.
Thanh you again Walter
We hooked up electric next to the big barn so we had privacy on one side and a view of a small pond and beautiful pasture on the other. This family was very hospitable, we played cards one night then had a peaceful night alone during the rainstorm the next night. There was nothing negative about our stay and we would highly recommend them.
Thanks for providing a nice spot to stop, along with the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate after long hours on the road. Happy RVing!
We changed our arrival dates 2 times and they were so patient and accommodating. Directions were easy to follow and upon arrival we were greeted and shown where to back in next to the big barn where we had 50amp electric service. On one side we had the barn and the other was a small pond, fire pit and beautiful open pasture. Our first evening there we were invited to join the family for a game of Yahtzee. The 2nd night it was raining so we stayed in our motorhome and relaxed. We felt very comfortable and safe and would highly recommend Staggs farm and the opportunity to meet this gracious family who Blessed us by sharing their farm.
It was a very nice place to stay. The host was very accommodating and polite. I enjoyed all 5 days.
Sweet family! Our hosts were very accommodating & nice. They even provided electric hook up. We felt very safe. It was very peaceful. Our son had a blast playing with their sons. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!
Friendly, warm, accommodating hosts. Spacious, quiet property. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Thank you for having us!
Nice pull-through site with electric hookup. Although we did not meet our hosts, we had a peaceful stay in a beautiful country setting. The location was easy to find and the host’s directions were clearly stated.
This family is so kind. This was our first boondockers welcome and my wife was a little nervous. This fear quickly went away as she met our host. They were very friendly and welcoming. I cant say enough kind words about host. Highly recommend this bw!
Beautiful country setting with beautiful sunrises. Hosts were very accommodating even though we were there during the week, while he was working. We got a great night sleep, without any worries. We would definitely go back and hope to see them again someday. Another very successful stay. Thanks.
Easy site to find. Host was quick to reply and made sure we were ok, and had electric wire that suited our needs ready before we arrived. As advertised, the sunrise was beautiful. Being hosted there gave us the opportunity to visit Columbus, IN.
Devildog and his family were very accommodating and friendly. They have a great setting on the outskirts of a small town. 15 minutes from larger cities for shopping if needed, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. If your in Indiana, this is a great place to boondock!
Enjoyed the visit. Friendly couple. Had a cinnamon roll at Hartsville Sweets and then attended Hope Heritage Days. Went on the take pictures at the New Brownsville Covered Bridge.
What great hosts!! Time spent with them and their family was super special. They hosted a fun cookout and included us along with parents, siblings, nieces, nephews!
The site is very quiet with views of pasture and a pond. Great place to relax.
Absolutely can recommend this lovely place!!
We stayed here on Labor Day weekend while traveling through Indiana. The hosts were traveling as well, and were kind enough to let us stay on their property anyway. They gave us electricity and water!! It was quiet and peaceful. Our dogs were able to run around free! Thanks so much!
We enjoyed staying one night. Very nice people. I hope we meet again and have more time to share. Glad the Hosts are part of BW.
The hosts were very very generous and kind. We had several issues with our brand new camper upon arrival. While working all the bugs out, they offered us to stay an extra day. They were very understanding. We couldn't have picked a better host for our first time boondocking!
Beautiful place in the country, we had everything we needed. It was pretty rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the outside very much.
What a charming campsite situated beside a small pond with a forest of trees and pasture as a backdrop for our camping spot. A nice level gravel site complete with a fire pit added a nice finishing touch.
Due to my lack of backing in skills I was unable to get our 30’ fifth wheel in the prepared site, but we were able to park in the large circular driveway and enjoy the same view.
Our hostess came out to greet us and checked to see if we needed anything. Hartsville, IN is a charming little community. Everything in town looks perfectly manicured. This is a great place to stop over for a rest.
By all means stop by Heartsville Sweets for a cinnamon roll. Maybe the best we have ever eaten. Also, Hartsville has a beautiful city park. Check it out. Maybe eat your cinnamon roll there.
Thank you so much for a nice relaxing stay. You guys are the best. Please come to Georgia and visit us sometime. We would love to have you over.
Hosts were so sweet. Beautiful spot, 50 amp beautiful pond to park by. Fell asleep to the frogs😁
Great stay. We had RV problems and we stayed 2 additional day while they were gone. 3 little guys who were fun to watch playing. Super nice people
We had such a peaceful and comfortable stay at the farm. Even our dogs enjoyed themselves! Our hosts were pleasant and inviting. Yes, it's out-of-the-way, but worth the good feelings and relaxing stay.
The stay with Devildog was great! We stayed for 3 nights. The host and the family was very personable. While there the area came under a tornado warning. The host came to our RV telling us to seek refuge in their basement. This is a testament to fact there are good people in the world.
