Our second stay at this location was just as nice as the first! Hosts were very accommodating given that we contacted them on short notice seeking a place to park until the snowy weather ended. We didn't want to risk towing our camper until the roads were clear, and once again they let us stay as long as we liked. Highly recommended!
Ken and Becky were great. They have a beautiful bus conversion and are in a great scenic area not to far from town.
This was one of our best Boondocker sites ever! Very convenient and easy to get to. Our hosts greeted is and showed us where to set up. They graciously offered us full hook up, which is pretty remarkable. Ken and Becky were very friendly and welcoming. We were able to enjoy an evening together for dinner, sharing stories And learning interesting facts about the area. You will not find a more generous couple anywhere!! We hope to see them down the road sometime. Ken has a beautiful RV coach that he converted from an old school bus. He is a multi-talented guy.
Spent another night here because of bad weather. Hosts were extremely flexible. Looking forward to returning in the future!
Allowed us to extend stay due to weather. Very much appreciated!!!
Hosts were very friendly and invited us to stay as long as we wanted. Many tourist destinations to visit in this region. Location is in a country setting close to a small town. Some road noise during the day but quiet at night. Best of all ... hosts offered full hookups (water, sewer, 50 AMP). We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here!
Becky and Ken were a lovely couple and hospitable hosts. Unfortunately we had to depart early to catch a park ranger walk at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park so we missed an opportunity to chat more with our hosts.
Property was rural and the stars plentiful. A very comfortable stay.
Ken and Becky are amazing hostesses, they are so welcoming, warm and just amazing people. They both always have a smile for you. They have created an amazing spot to park your home with a fire pit and great mountain views. They will go out of their way to assist with most anything you need. Great place to make new friends. Delta is a very friendly place with so much around it. We felt very comfortable and assured our home was in great care while away for daily/night trips. This was our first stay on the Boondockers Welcome (BW) and if all stays are half as great as this one, we will be using BW for many of our travel adventures. We just can’t say enough about this amazing couple and their big hearts. We feel very blessed to have had this experience. We will be back for sure…
Ken Becky are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and friendly, seemed like old friends right off the bat. We would love to come back anytime we are close. Thanks so much.
Nice folks with a great dog, Jake. So kind to have so much for us to use, electric, sewer and water. So appreciated your hospitality
K&S were so very nice and interesting. What a welcome relief from the heat to have power available. Ken is restoring a vintage Thunderbird and his conversion bus/motor home is a must see. Only wish we had more time to visit.
Ken & Becky were some of the most welcoming and consummate hosts we've experienced! We shared a couple meals together, enjoyed great conversation, and had a great time. We stayed five days and it flew by! Our two kitties appreciated the full hook ups as the summer days get up into the high 90s. Plenty of room to navigate our big rig plus tow car. We absolutely will be looking them up anytime we are near Delta. Thanks!! -Jeri & Penguin
We enjoyed our stay with KenBecky. Our 30' travel trailer easily fit into the area next to the garage/office and they offered us 30 amp electric service to run our AC since it was so hot. The area was mostly flat and covered with stones. Very quiet so we slept well! We enjoyed our chats with KenBecky. He's an interesting guy. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you KenBecky!
We were warmly greeted and shown where to set up. We were visiting friends in the area, so kind of came and went, which was fine with our hosts. In the morning, I had a great chat with Ken and he gave me a tour of the bus he is renovating. It’s amazing! Ken is a wealth of information about the area, and we were able to hook up to water and power. My granddaughter loved their dog. We hope to return.
Host was very kind- he waited till 9.30pm for our late arrival, knowledgeable about area, And very helpful- he fixed couple things wrong with our truck. Their place is conveniently located to Colorado National Monument, Black Canyon and picturesque Durango. Host and hostess are the nicest people and we loved hearing interesting life stories from their past. We hope to see them again. Thank you ☺️
We absolutely loved our stay with Ken and Becky! Th r were so welcoming and gracious. They willingly shared anything we needed and knew so much about the area. They spent time with us around the fire pit and were so friendly! We are definitely planning to return!!
You wont find nicer, more kind more giving folks than K&B. If you love swapping stories then get ken around the fire pit my son and i made out of leftover materials, you wont regret the time spent.
I feel a connection with them as if they are now part of my family and i am so looking forward to spending time with them again.
Thank you both for a wonderful experience!
And Becky and i made a pinkie promise for us to go to Alaska in a couple Years!
We enjoyed meeting Ken and Becky, and touring each other’s rigs. Super quiet, he even let us hook to 50 amp during a cold rainy night! This site is very level, graveled, and off a somewhat winding paved road. Water and sewer were also offered, but we didn’t need them as we only stayed one night.
We really enjoyed our stay with these hosts. I thought I had already left a reference for them, but I wanted to be sure. It was a wonderful place to get much needed rest after a long day of driving. Loved the friendly greeting we received as well. I could go on about how nice our stay was, but as I said, I honestly think I already left a review. I definitely recommend these hosts!
We had driven almost 300 miles the day we stayed here, and were so happy that our host not only offered to back our travel trailer in, but did it successfully on the first try. We were able to easily level our rig, and he had electric, water, and a sewer available for us. We hooked up and proceeded to have a much needed restful evening.
We were in the area I call "home base", so we were gone a lot taking care of Dr's appt's, meetings, and visiting friends; and our hosts didn't have a problem with our comings and goings, nor did they have an issue with the fact that we basically used this location for sleeping and showers, and occasionally doing our work from home stuff, so we weren't very social.
When I did get a chance to talk to the host, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about RV's. He went into town and actually bought a sewer hose when we found ours wasn't long enough to reach the hook up to his septic. He reasoned "You never know when someone will need it..." , so don't worry, they are there to help if you need it.
We stayed for 4 peaceful, star filled nights and had a wonderful experience... hope to see these two again someday! Will stay again when I need to come back!
