We are in our early 70's, but try not to act our age. We like to stay active, to explore and to meet new people. We've done a fair bit of RV-ing -- mostly in the South and West -- and look forward to doing a lot more.
Our own RV takes up a good chunk of the driveway, but there is still room for a small or medium-ish one. We do have 30 amp electric service and, of course, a water hose.
Phil is "mechanically inclined" and Margaret enjoys cooking and sewing.
National Forests, Army Corps of Engineers, and BLM land in the South and West.
Our rig is a 37' 2016 Montana High Country with three slides. We tow it with a 2011 Ford F250 Super Duty with the 6.7 engine. We keep the RV in the driveway, but there should be room for yours there as well.
Spent a great afternoon and night swaping stories with Phil and Margaret. They should write a book. Two very down to earth and adventurous Americans. DnA
We had an excellent overnight stay on our way through the Indy area. Most gracious hosts and on a quiet residential no-outlet road, so traffic is at a minimum.I would recommend. We would stop again if going through the area and would recommend to others.
We spent one night at their house. It is a very nice and quiet neighborhood. They were kind enough to provide elec and water; yippee! We shared many stories about all of our travels before turning in for the night. Don't hesitate to stop by if you get the chance.
We followed their directions to find their place. It was dark but we had little trouble getting in there. The Basketball goal at the end of the driveway assured we were at the right place. I the morning we enjoyed coffee and visited, getting to know each other for about 3 hours before heading on our way. Would stay again without hesitation if they are home.
