As rvSometimers, we are on the road a few months, then at home a few months and hit repeat. That's how we live and we love it. We spend many hours documenting our fun on our youtube channel Does Size Matter and many hours filming. We still work and love to play so having people stop by at the lake is going to be so much fun.
Ahhhh, I guess nothing really special. We are just friendly ;)
We do not currently have any pets :(
Our home town is called Magna Bay, BC Canada. It is on a beautiful, clear, huge resort lake and we get to live on 450' of private beach. We are nestled away from town but have all the services needed, grocery store, liquor store, marina, rentals, restaurant, drug store, and retail. As well as boating, hiking, off roading, sledding, and lots of wildlife.
The Beaver is a 42' Class A with 4 slides, that we do not need to pull out depending on where we are.
We're realy happy to hosted Doessizematter.
They are very interesting people.
Come back anytime
Great having Doessizematter here. Very well travelled, a pleasure to visit with. Come back any time.
It was great hosting Doessizematter. We had a nice chat when they arrived. After that we didn't even know they were here. They are welcome back anytime.
A BEAUTIFUL spot by the lake and our hosts were so nice. Coffee on the dock on a beautiful sunny morning and kayaking on Lake Shuswap. It doesn't get any better than that!
We needed a quiet retreat. Our hosts provided that and so much more. Their property is paradise and they are kind and thoughtful. This was our first Boondockers stay and it will be hard to beat.
As an added bonus the bird sanctuary near their property is spectacular for kayaking.
Really enjoyed our time at this enchanting piece of tranquillity the deck looking out over the water, the sound of the birds singing was amazing.
Our hosts were great we enjoyed the chats, hopefully we will get to see them again when up Shuswap way.
We had intended to visit here a while ago but covid issues forced us to cancel the trip. So this was take 2.
They have a fantastic property and usually we would have had lake front stay but because they were doing a lot of work in preparation for upcoming celebrations we parked up closer to the road. But still close enough to quickly carry our kayak down to the water.
Enjoyed 2 evenings sitting on the dock: one alone and one with our hosts sharing RV stories and seeking their sage advice in preparation for our planned big adventure later this year.
They could not have been more welcoming.
We hope they will join us at our place next time they are in the neighbourhood so we can spend more time with them.
D & K (not suppose to mention full name) are both super friendly and accommodating couple. It was our 2nd boon docking trip since we joined last year, 2019. We must say that their place is clean, having a lovely water front view is nice, quiet and lots of privacy, we hope to come back again another time, highly recommended! 👍
Thank you both D & K
The hosts are 2 of the kindest people I've ever met. They helped me get set up and offered power. We had a campfire one night and they have some great rving stories. I hope to get back next year for another stay. Thank you to them for 3 lovely days!
The hosts are so friendly and they made us feel very welcome. When we first arrived and got to see the place where we could set up our camper, we couldn't imagine anything better. We had two perfect days at the lake swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. The hosts have shown us some nice things the lake has to offer and made our stay unforgettable. We hope that one day we are that lucky to come back. Thank you for this very nice experience!
We had such a nice time there. Denise and Cory are really good people, really welcoming and friendly. Everything was perfect and the place is so beautiful, on a huge lake with a nice view!!!
For sure, I will recommend that place!!!
We had a great 2 days of R&R on the lake . Beautiful natural surroundings with a great Host couple.
Thank you very much!
Don't miss a chance to stay with these amazing hosts. Thanks for a great visit.
The weather was great, lake Shuswap is really nice, but what really made our time here amazing are the hosts, the location they had for our RV and everything they shared with us.
They really took their time to make sure we had a good experience and we learned a lot from them.
We feel very fortunate to have been their guests and would recommend anybody to get to know these GREAT people.
An awesome couple, really friendly and helpful. A truely tranquil setting on the lakeside, watching the eagles and having a swim. We enjoyed chatting with the host around the fire
ring in the evening. We stayed in a 26 foot Class C off the road and on a large level site.
