We had a delightful one night stay (our second time here)and it was wonderful to see our hosts again. great spot.
We stayed here for a night on our way home to Ontario. They were most welcoming and accommodating despite us having to change our arrival time for to the Labour Day traffic. They have a lovely location and we hope to return to spend a bit more time there!
We enjoyed staying one night at Snuffy's Tree farm's home. They are very kind people. We could also speak in French. Interesting Boondocking site close to a pond. Marvellous! Good discussion during the evening beside the fireplace. Wish it remains enough wood for the winter... We appreciated very much the corns they gave to us from their garden.very generous people. We wish to see them again.
Our first time staying as a boondocker was a very pleasant experience with Snuffy's as our host. They made the visit very enjoyable and quite smooth. A very quiet spot and very peaceful setting in their backyard and next to their pond. We spent 3 nights with them while my wife and I toured the area. Frankenmuth was a short drive away and enjoyable. Thanks to Snuffy's Tree Farm for their Hospitality.
We had such a wonderful time with Snuffy and family. They were such gracious hosts, and we would recommend staying here if you enjoy sitting and talking in a very peaceful place. We were also close enough to Lake Huron to spend a day on the beach.
We visited on July 29 and had a nice evening talking to our hosts.
We stayed 1 night, and enjoyed very much this peaceful and quiet place, our host where very nice and friendly.
We stayed one night at this wonderful, peaceful location with great hosts. We look forward to returning another time and highly recommend this spot.
We spent just one night at Snuffy's Tree Farm, but could easily have stayed longer. Kirk and Rachel were waiting for us at the end of their driveway at 9:30 at night to guide us to our quiet, restful spot on their beautiful property. It was too late to visit then, but we had a good visit the next morning. Very helpful and generous hosts. We highly recommend.
Kirk and Rachel are the perfect host. Don't let the gravel road stop you from entering their park like setting. A wild fox watched us set up. Canadian geese floated in the pond and deer roamed in the back field. As night fell and frogs crocked we enjoyed time to talk with Kirk and Rachel about our lives journeys. We will be back. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
Thank you Kirk and Rachelle for your fantastic spot. My family and I spent our 1st night of our 23 day journey and had a great time visiting with you both. Wonderful hosts! Thank you.
Kirk and Rachel emailed me and let me know that they would be away for a few days and we could still use their property to stay the night. They left a sign with the name of my Roadtrek (Ms. Holiday) at the foot of the drive so I would know where to turn in. Even though we had never met they opened up their home turf for a couple of Boondockers. Amazing!
Found them to be of a caring nature, wish we could have stayed, but the tree clearance was just too tight for a newer size class A . Nice location though and seemed quiet too.
Beginning my trip from London Ontario my first stop was here at Snuffy's Tree farm and I was welcomed and made to feel right at home. I was actually nervous setting out on my own but was reassured all would be well so it was a thoroughly great start to my trip and I would recommend a stay there to anyone travelling in that area. We had a great time at Snuffy's Tree Farm. From a beautiful level spot, to lively conversation with wonderful people. Would certainly recommend stopping here!
