Really enjoyed meeting this couple. Unfortunately, we were running around so busy while they were here, we didn't spend the time we would have like with them. Great couple, easy going, just good people! Looking forward to catching up with them again.
It was a short visit since mlharmon was covering a lot of miles to an event. Couldn't have nicer guests.
M and L were what this site is all about. They were polite. fun to talk to. very interesting people, I could go on and on... if you get a chance to host them, don't miss the chance to talk to them. We wish them all the best and say thanks for stopping by and they are welcome back ANYTIME!!!!!!
This couple is a pleasure to host. Great conversations and very considerant. We enjoyed having them and Welcome them back.
Their place is exceptional and the host was so welcoming and makes us feeling like family. We would have loved to have chance to talk more with them, may be another time. Thanks again!
As per other commentors, our hosts were wonderful and their property is a cool place to stay. Another great experience for us westerners!!!
Thanks again for another wonderful stay. You really have a beautiful setup there.
M & L went out- of- their- way to make me feel welcome at this serene, boondocking campsite...aka: their home! Situated off a country lane, this gorgeous property has an old-timey cabin front, with a ton of items from life lived long ago! Great for picture taking!
M & L has also constructed a personal deck for the visiting boondockers to rest, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this quaint venue! There is also a great swing, on which to lounge, daydream and reminisce!
Also available are water and electric hook-ups and even a grey water dump site...this boondocking experience will be one at the TOP of your list!
KOINOC
M & L are excellent host. Beautiful little spot in the country. This is our 2nd stay there. They are the reason we signed up for Boondockers. They have great set up with picnic tables, benches, fire pit, electric and water.
Staying here is a must!
We loved our brief stay with M&L. No Trespassing is a hidden gem in DE along the Indian River. The site is a dream. After a week of dry camping at Assateague National Seashore in 90 degree temps and humidity, we loved having shade, water and electric.
M helped us back our trailer up to a cute deck, and showed us the property. So nice and welcoming in every way. We napped with AC on, and then built a campfire in the fire pit after dinner. Almost fell asleep again by the fire it was so relaxing!
Best BW stay so far. We’re sure to seem them again and may come back to dry camp at the Naticoke Pow wow in September.
Hosts could not have been more lovely, fellow RVers who clearly care about the community.
Parking spot is in their spacious front yard. There is a deck, wifi, water and electric service! It was better than any campground or RV park. I would go out of my way to stay with them again!
These hosts were gems...they had everything that you'd want waiting for you. A lovely parking set up...with your own deck, view of flowers, birds, butterflies. Sweet treat was a old time cabin being built to add a bit of nostalgia. They had pamphlets of nearby sites, help with road info, store locations etc. Hated to leave their place and company. Thanks does not express how much we enjoyed our time there.
MLHarmon were amazing hosts. Greeted us on our arrival and assisted with getting our camper in place and connected to the water and power. The environment was peaceful and beautiful with a lovely cardinal greeting us each morning as we had our ☕️. Cannot say enough nice things about the hosts and the setting. The only way for you to fully understand is to pay them a visit. Happy boondockers are we!!! 😊
This place is a little slice of heaven designed by man who knows what campers and travelers alike want and need. It's beautiful and seren with all the amenities provided, except a dump site to which my host so kindly not only showed me but took his time from his busy schedule and went along with me to dump it. Because of such people and this site give me drive to pay it forward and provide the same hospitality to not just anyone but especially those whom made our journey so comfortable. Thank you! From my Family and me.
Mike and Linda exceeded our expectations for our first time using Boondockers Welcome! Very kind people with a beautiful, secluded property. It was the perfect two day stop where we did some re-couping.
Great people. This was our first time rv'ing and fortunately, it went very well thanks in large part to Mike and Linda being wonderful hosts and helping us figure out a few things.
Mike and Linda were absolutely amazing. This was my first boondockers experience and I'm afraid I may have been spoiled.
The space: They had a 30 amp hook up and water right next to a level pad with a wood patio. This was better than some of the rv parks I've stayed at. My dogs enjoyed being off leash and playing fetch in the large yard. Internet connection was also perfect in my camper.
Mike helped me park, took me around to fill my propane and get a few items at the local hardware store.
As a solo female traveler, it was nice to feel so secure and welcomed by Mike and Linda. Hopefully they make it out to AZ so I can repay their generosity.
Thanks again!
It was with a heavy heart that we unfortunately only got to spend a couple of hours on this beautiful property. The forecast was calling for some nasty weather over the weekend and we didn't want to get stuck driving to VA in the thick of it. Had enough time to enjoy talking with Mike and Linda, enough that we were sad we couldn't have spent longer with them and their peaceful place. They are great people and we wish them all the best in getting out there and finding other amazing friends and family on Boondockers Welcome. Hope our paths cross again.
Very nice to meet Mike and Linda and stay at their perfect little camp spot in front of the house. They supplied us with water and hydro and even a deck and chairs. Next time down this way we will drop in again.
Very gracious couple with a wonderful location. Thirty minutes from the Lewes Ferry terminal for Cape May. Hope that they come visit us someday in CT. Thanks so much.
From the minute we arrived we was greeted with such warm spirit fro Mike and Linda. They was very accommodating and helpful. Mike guided me in like a pro.
They are number one in my book.
We will definitely return another time.
Definitely recommend a stop here, even if it means going a little out of your way. Extremely affable hosts, make sure to spend time chatting with them if you are available. We were working during most of our stay and didn't have as much time as we would have liked to visit, they were very understanding and gave us our space. They were very responsive right from our initial inquiry, Mike shared valuable information about unhooking our Jeep and pulling into his driveway, and helped navigate into the spot. It's a tight entrance and turn for a 40 footer but doable with a couple k turns and a good spotter. The site is well packed and level.
The setting is beautiful - nestled in a heavily wooded area with birds, deer, wild turkey and an owl! The location is convenient to Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Our Verizon and T-Mobile service worked great.
We had a great time with Mike and Linda. We really enjoyed the spot, so close to the wonderful beaches and Outlet Mall. Spot is easy to access, and lots of room for our 32 Foot Class A and Tow Vehicle, and room for our dog to roam around. The directions and instructions to get into the driveway are spot on. We unhooked our tow on a very level spot on the side of the road (no traffic) and took the tow ahead so we could guide the RV in to the gated drive. Very welcoming couple, easy conversation and some laughs. We had the opportunity to visit the Nanticoke Indian Museum and learn about the culture and of Mike's heritage. We were the only people there at time so had a VIP Tour. We hope that we can one day return the favour and host this lovely couple in Nova Scotia. Thank you again. Susie & Matt
What a wonderful experience boondocking here! The nicest couple you’d ever want to meet!
Thanks Mlharmon for sharing your Nanticoke culture with us! And, for sharing your beautiful property. A nice level spot, nestled amongst the trees with water and electricity. Truly a pleasurable stay.
We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Our home will always be open to you in Canada. We hope to see you again soon!
These couple were the nicest, most welcoming hosts we have had, Melanie(our 2 year old daughter) was playing in their house for a long time while we were chatting away. They even let her help with planting the garden. They were very knowledgeable of the near beaches, and the parks that were close to their house. We definitely recommend them!
We had such a wonderful time with mlharmon! They were so generous and hospitable, tending to our every need! We spent lovely evenings chatting together and enjoying their fellowship. They were gracious with our kids, who were so sad to leave. We made lifelong friends and hope to see them in Australia one day to repay the kindness.
Mlharmon were such gracious hosts. We had a nice level spot to spend the night and were supplied with power, water, fresh veggies from the garden, a fan for the night and even a ride to the store. We took a nice little bike ride with him down to the river, past beautiful farmlands, and spotted deer and wild rabbits. It was the perfect stop for the evening on our way to Assateague. Thanks so much, and remember you are always welcome to stay with us in Maine.
Very nice overnight stay..Easy to find...very quiet. ..come visit me near cape cod anytime..Linda,rusty, lizzy..merlin
We stayed one night with Mike & Lynn, excellent hosts. Nice quiet spot and they provided power. Water and a dumping location are also available. Look forward to staying with them again and hopefully hosting them on a trip to our area.
Great spot on country lot, very private, nice area - great people, very welcoming and knowledgeable about area - recommend highly!
As our first experience staying at a member's place we could not have asked for better. Mike welcomed us as old friends and we loved the lot he and his wife have near Milsboro. We only hope we will be able to do the same for them if they ever come to Canada.
