Hello! I am a grandmother who is retired and playing whenever possible. I have friends all over the states, and have a little RV (older Roadtrek) that I like to travel in. It's a little over 21', so not a big rig at all. I usually just stay one night because I am passing through enroute somewhere fun.
I think it is incredible that these opportunities to stay in local places is available. I love getting an idea about the part of the country where I land. I had a career in Human Resources, so like to chat when I can.
Thanks so very much for making my travel possible!
I have hiked and traveled all over the world, so I can answer questions about Mongolia, Nepal, Patagonia, and many over areas. I have written a book about these travels, so you can even read about my experiences! Also have backpacked a bunch and can give some advice.
I do travel with my two animal shelter dogs because I appreciate their company. In addition, I appreciate the sense of safety they give me. I will always be respectful of the wishes of the places I stay regarding my dogs. These dogs are about 45 pounds each. Sometimes I travel with my cat too, but more often with the dogs.
Haven't bookdocked yet! I did Couch Surfed once in Patagonia which was a blast.
I grew up in Ohio, and currently live in the Southern California area. I have lived there since 1971, and finally moved to a small town up in the mountains above LA where the air is cleaner and people are more friendly.
I have an older Roadtrek (2006) which i believe is Class B since it is a van. I dont pull any vehicles. Great vehicle that is not too big. Self-contained.
