I love the peace of simple tasks and gardening offers me that. During the summer months I enjoy #vanlife and work on other farms around North America. I enjoy meeting and sharing interesting conversations with other adventurers of this life style. I always contribute in some way to where ever I stay.
I am easy to talk to and a great listener. In my previous life I was a software engineer. I now love love love talking about food forest and permaculture. I am a pretty good carpenter and understand structures. I built out my own van out and have become quite experienced about what works well and doesn’t rattle. I mountain bike and hike, usually fit my bikes in the van. I enjoy helping and learning.
I was rescued by a shelter dog. She is a small terrier mix and accompanies me on trips. I also have a cat that seems to accept me as her person most of the time.
I most often boondock at friends homes, I am quick to meet new people and make new friends. I have developed a network of acquaintances to visit and stay with.
My home is in quaint Crystal Beach, it is a small older community on Saint Joseph’s Sound. The Pinellas Trail runs through our community and can take you by bicycle for miles north or south. Sunsets here are beautiful and restaurants abd breweries are close by. I grow a lot of tropical fruit trees in my yard and sometimes have an active vegetable garden producing. I look forward to hosting.
2017 Ford Transit Van 350 Hightop. I purchased and converted my van in 2017. I continue to upgrade and enhance it as I use it and learn more. It is completely self contained, I do not need water or power hookup. And currently I do not own a generator.
I thought I had already left a reference but if not : very nice guest. Hardly heard her come or leave.
A nice pleasant lady , would welcome her back any time to help pull weeds . Wishing her good luck and safe travels.
Lisa was very flexible and responsive to our changes in plans. We had to cancel the first night and arrived much later the 2nd night than we had hoped. Parking was easy and the back yard was quiet. Good nights sleep before slipping away in the morning to continue our journey. Thank you for a safe spot for the night.
Great host, with a very beautiful spot and neighborhood. We had a wonderful time with Lisa, she gave us helpful suggestions to bike along these coast. Thank you for that. We had a drink with her and talked about her and our journeys.
We had a wonderful time. Thanks again. A perfect boondock experience
Wonderful host! This was my first Boondockers Wecome stay and she was available for questions, provided info on the area and created a very welcome atmosphere. Crystal Beach area is a hidden gem. Easy to walk and bike. The sunsets were amazing! Look forward to returning.

The host came out to help me park the vehicle and it was a very nice stay. Thank you so much!
This was our 2nd time staying at this host’s place. Very generous, helpful and accommodating. Place is very relaxing and peaceful. Wonderful place and wonderful host.
Our host was very welcoming and we hope to get together again soon. The beachside location is spectacular and the neighbourhood is great for walking and cycling. Don’t miss this spot!
We had 2 lovely days at Yogalover’s house. The location is great, loved the sunset, biked to Tarpon Springs and spent half a day at Wall Springs Park nearby. Had also nice talking with the other boondocker. Hope to come again or meet this host during a next trip. Thank you again for staying at your peaceful place! Johan and Loes, The Netherlands
What a little oasis we found here. Mangoes avocados papayas star fruit and all growing in a little back yard. We hope we pass this way again Our host has created something real nice here. What a wonderful welcoming heart. !!
Our host was very welcoming, generous and friendly. We enjoyed talking with our host who made our time one that we won’t forget. We have things in common. We really liked being at this place. There was another RVer who stayed at the same time & we enjoyed 2 nights together. We hope to visit the host again!
Loved exploring this area on the Pinellas Bike Trail host. Our host was welcoming and we had some good exchanges about travelling in vans. Our pup was welcomed as well and that was important for us. This was our first connection through Boondockers Welcome and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you. 5 stars.
Lisa is a fellow traveler and was really kind and welcoming. Her sweet little back yard hideaway was just perfect for us in our conversion van. Peaceful and safe sleep!
Host. met us and directed us in with our (new to us) class c. What a wonderful most relaxing spot. Quiet and close to the water just beautiful. Sadly did not have much time to spend with our host but will be looking for her on the road out west!
My two night stay at this bayfront park property was magical! The owner & other camper were so friendly, also camper/travelers, and dog lovers so we had much in common.
Next time I go to Crystal Beach, I will hope to spend more time on the property & the park across the street. I was treated to two nights of amazing sunsets!
Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!!!
Our host was very welcoming! There was another RVer who stayed at the same time & we enjoyed 2 nights together. Such a quaint neighborhood, one block from the ocean, with beautiful views of the sunset. Our host was such a treat & very friendly! She gave us some pointers for our sprinter van and made our time here one that we won't soon forget :) We hope to visit again the next time we're in the area!
We really liked our little spot here. We enjoyed talking with our host. We ended up needing to arrive late and depart early and she was very accommodating. We plan to visit here again :)
We were host in little paradise one block to the ocean . It was quiet and green. Our host was charming and generous. We have similar interests about travel.
