After many years of tent camping with kids, we finally decided to upgrade to a 23' bumper-pull travel trailer! We LOVE finding new adventures in our little home away from home! Boondockers is just one of several unique overnight options we use on a fairly regular basis. We pride ourselves on being considerate, friendly and helpful. Never intrusive or needy.
Joe's background is in ag and I am an RN.
One well-behaved Australian shepherd named Ginger. She usually stays at home as she seems happiest there, but on occasion we have her along on our travels. We are very attentive and clean up after our dog.
Cole Creek at Bear River Reservoir - No hook-ups, it's true boon-docking in nature!
2006 - 23" Komfort Trailer Blazer trailer, towed by a 2012 Ford F-150 pick-up Truck. Both clean and well maintained.
Had a wonderful time hanging out with J and P last night. Really delightful couple. Great conversation and loved J's enthusiasm for their impending trip! Would love to host again
Amazing hosts and adorable animals. I almost got my fill of goat petting. We felt like we were visiting old friends. This stop will be one of my favorite trip memories.
What a wonderful couple and a very enjoyable small farm. I really enjoyed the goats!
We were so thankful for these hosts and their hospitality. We needed to get out of the Yosemite area a day early because of a snow storm scheduled to hit the day of our departure. With less than 24 hours notice these hosts accepted our request. When we got there we were warmly welcomed and they helped us back into a good spot. The hosts showed our 4 year old their zip line (which he couldn’t get enough of) and even brought us some corn bread. They have a really great little farm, and it was very interesting seeing the system they have in place. Prior to leaving in the morning, the hosts took our son out to pet the goats and even gave him a book for the road. Such great people, it was really great meeting them and spending some time with them.
P & J are wonderful hosts who are eager to help in any way needed. Pam even gave us a bag of lemons from their tree. Sweet goats, dog, & other animals on their little slice of heaven. We will definitely try to stay again, if we're in the neighborhood.
We really enjoyed meeting P&J and seeing all their animals. Very friendly and helpful. We were given the best lemons we have ever tasted.
Highly recommend this location and couple. Close to town yet, near vineyards and countryside. Perfect.
We hope to meet you again one day! Happy travels. 😁
P+J were amazing hosts. This was our first time boondocking and using this service, they really went out of their way to be helpful and get settled in. We truly enjoyed their farm and they shared great tips and even offered us homemade sourdough bread and fudge. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying with them. Thank you for welcoming us to your farm.
What a wonderful stay, the kids played with the goats, pet the horse and enjoyed some toys. We loved chatting with the host and she generously shared fruit from their trees.
Pam and Joe were great hosts. Communication prior to the stay was easy. The farm had everything you could want in a farm stay with kids: goats, dog, horse, and fruit trees. Great conversations with new friends. We had booked a single night and ended up staying two.
A delightful time. A peaceful small farm setting with friendly hosts, farm animals and pleasant conversation. 2 week old kids (as in baby goats), Rio the horse, chickens, a cow and billy goat made our stay all the more memorable. We left for home with farm fresh eggs and a feeling of new found friendship. Thank you P+J Martin.
