My wife Linda passed away in Feb 2021. I plan to carry on RVing solo. We're former world travelers and sailors from Ontario, Canada, who have taken up RVing as a means of vacationing. Rick is on oxygen 24/7 due to low blood oxygen. We travel with an oxygen concentrator onboard (which requires 15 amps), and use refillable oxygen cylinders when away from the vehicle. We restock portable oxygen every few days.
In the last 15 years we have visited China, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand and South Africa. We have sailed around Denmark and to Newfoundland. We enjoy the sight seeing, photography, meeting interesting people, reading, Netflix, relaxing with a beer or glass of wine and cooking. Rick is a retired industrial engineer, licensed ham radio operator, computer nerd and genealogy geek and Linda is a retired publicist, teacher and exhibition manager.
Some expertise in diagnosing plumbing, electrical and computer problems.
We have a cat named Chloe, but she doesn't travel with us.
I am retired on Lake Simcoe in Oro Medonte, Ontario.
2018 Pleasureway FL Mercedes chassis. Sleeps two. Onboard bathroom. Equipped for: shore power, generator, solar or batteries *15 amp service is a MUST for overnight since we need to run an oxygen concentrator when onboard. 30 amp would be a dream, but not crucial. Amenities: air conditioning, furnace, stove, fridge, microwave, Wifi antenna. Rear camera, GPS, etc. No stabilizers at this point.
It was my pleasure to host this couple. I'm sure you will enjoy them too
Stayed a couple of nights at my RV sites with another Canadian couple that were friends of theirs. It was their first Boondockerswelcome stay which they enjoyed and were very appreciative of. They are welcome back anytime they come back to Florida.
