Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Kayaker, hiker, camper and gardener who just enjoys being outdoors. I recently moved to a small neighborhood and can now only accommodate smaller rigs. Driveway is mostly shaded, water and light electrical available, recycling and garbage center less than a mile away. Neighborhood is on Big Allison Creek, a large creek (over 6 miles long) that flows into Lake Wylie. Public boat ramp, fishing pier, and swimming area are .4 miles away. This is a great area for water sports, biking, or walking with miles of quiet roads and lots of undeveloped land.

Amazing host with a beautiful garden

We were greeted by Rene who was working hard in her garden. Beautiful garden with lighting bugs and big trees to shade our RV.

Loved hearing about Rene's passion for kayaking and gardening.

If your passing through this wonderful hosts town of a quaint Southern Town of York, SC.. please stay with Rene. You won't be disappointed.

Rene is one of the sweetest people you will ever met!

We had a great time boondocking with Rene we had some great talks and she even gave us some great tips for travelling. We wish her the best on all her further adventures and hope she gets to Canada sometime soon so we can get together again! She is such a lovely woman and we are grateful for her hospitality and going out of her way to take care of us! Thanks again!

Amazing location with a gracious host

For someone beginning the life of boondocking I have to say it was a blessing to find such a knowledgeable and gracious host. Renee was so thoughtful to the point of thinking of the weather in the next couple days to accommodate my schooli. It truly takes a certain type of person to be that mindful. The property is amazing and you can see the care and love she has for her land. My dogs loved her and she allowed them to run free in a closed area of her sleeping garden because one is a lil too hyper to be off the leash. She understands the life and freedom of camping and waking up in a new location ever so often. The landscaping and layout of the space is great. And even though I didn’t get on it I loved the swing placed ever so delicately between the trees just past the picnic benches. I love sitting on the stone bench and could feel the earth hum underneath it. I noticed the pathway she is working on and it made me imagine how much work it takes to create them. This space, place, moment to share her world is and will always be remembered.

Awesome Host, Awesome Place

We loved Brooks Farm! Our Host came out to greet us and direct us to our parking area. What a beautiful location!
Our Host was welcoming and made us feel as if we were long lost friends. We had a lovely spot, and at night there were Christmas lights on the trees outside which made it even better! Our Host had a wealth of information to share with us.
We learned about the history of the area as well as things to do in the various surrounding towns. Our host certainly knows how to make a visitor feel right at home! We will be back!

Garden Paradise!

The home is surrounded by a maze of pristine gardens and beautiful trees--not to mention the biggest rosemary bush I've ever seen. We parked atop the hill under a couple huge oaks and enjoyed the peaceful landscape. An hour's drive away is the amazing and unique Congaree National Park, which I highly recommend visiting. Our host was wonderful and we're so grateful she's offered her homestead to campers!

A little paradise

This place is a real paradise with birds, garden and trees. The host is generous and helpfull. It's a good location for visiting Columbia but its out of town on the countryside.

Saved my life!!

This wonderful, beautiful, & AMAZING lady, who doesn't know me from Eve, was the closest person via Boondockers Welcome to me in my darkest hours thus far on the road & though there was NO WAY I could get to her home - She answered my email IMMEDIATELY & NOT ONLY THAT, but she gave me suggestions that NO ONE ELSE HAD AND helped to subside my fears for where I was at, and 150% more that I can't even begin to THANK HER FOR!!
RENE was used by God's hands in my life & I don't know where I'd be w/o her!!!
I can NIT show my absolute ADMIRATION & RESPECT greater than by telling EVERYONE - RENE SAVED MY LIFE!!
