It was a pleasure to host this couple. I am sure you will enjoy hosting them too. I hope they enjoyed their stay here and have safe travels.
Host is very easy going, hospitable and very accommodating. They have a canal at the back of their house where you can do kayaking which is great.
A great spot. And great hosts. If you stay there try to arrive early enough to try kayaking in their canal.
Highly recommend this place
Easy going and very accommodating. We’re grateful for making our trip easier.
Derek and his wife were gracious and generous hosts. We camped in a quiet, safe, vacant lot next to their home, with access to electricity, WIFI, and water. We spent a very pleasant evening with them exchanging stories about our respective experiences with locations as well as particular RV/TT manufacturers. The kindly offered us snacks and wine as we passed the time in front of a fire on their back patio. Both of them are avid kayakers, campers, and hikers. Sounds like they really throw themselves into these sports. The conversation was enjoyable and insightful. They are sponges for information about RVing and have set out a strategy to acquire more knowledge to help them select camps and a different trailer in the future.
Great stop! Enjoyed meeting the hosts and taking a kayak out on the water behind the house.
He is very easy to get along with. We came in late which can bother some folks but these folks were very easy going and hospitable. We are grateful for memberiin boondockers.
